"Notre séjour à la demeure de l'estuaire a été une bonne expérience. La maison est bien cachée au bout d'un petit chemin, le jardin et sa piscine en font un havre de paix.La chambre spacieuse, bien équipée et propre. Au calme pour une nuit réparatrice. Le petit déjeuner servi à table propose viennoiseries, pan cake , yaourt maison ,jus de fruit, fruits frais et des boissons chaudes. Peut-être proposer des produits salés comme du fromage, du jambon ou des œufs.

(I’d recommend contacting owners - you often need a code for locked gates to get quai side - they don’t give you this information so you need to request it) we found the setting beautiful. "Considering the price, this was a great value option in the Medoc wine region. The hotel is a little dated but clean and well maintained. The reception staff are great.
The only thing that could have improved our stay was having more to do around the hotel with young children. With the outdoor pool out of action we were able to use the indoor pool at lunchtime and dinner time each day but otherwise there wasn't much to do. It would be great for example if they could install some petanque courts and provide the equipment. Also more bikes, we were interested in hiring bikes but someone else had hired them."

We were warmly welcomed and treated with genuine hospitality by the wonderful Pascal, Emma, and Kim. A couple of highlights were conversing with the wonderful staff, enjoying breakfast in the château’s picturesque backyard, admiring the chateau’s interior, and doing the wine tour an unforgettable setting.
