"Clean room, staff was great "

"The hotel is modern and clean; our room was generous in size with a comfortable king-size bed. It is located within an easy walk (even with roller-luggage) of the St Jean rail station. However, it is absurdly difficult to identify the hotel when driving a car whose navigation system has the address. Better to park at the railway station and call the hotel desk for help."

"So - when we arrived, the manager Nicolas was amazing. We were early, no problem… he gave us a newly refurbished room which whilst small was excellent. We asked about going into Bordeaux and he spend time talking us through how best to do it, where to go etc. he couldn’t do enough for us and all with a smile. Breakfast was fabulous… we would highly recommend this hotel as a great place to stay - just off the otorway but quiet! "

"We stayed at this property last weekend as a group of 9 friends & it was phenomenal! Everything about our stay was incredible. The house is spectacular. It is really spacious, there's every gadget and utensil you could ever need, all of the appliances, BBQ etc. are top of the range. There are plenty of indoor & outdoor seating areas, so it is great for a large group. The pool is stunning, & heated, which was a bonus! The garden is beautiful. It is close to the airport by uber & quick & easy into Bordeaux by bus & uber. There's genuinely absolutely nothing you could fault this property on, except, as one of our group said, the fact that we don't own it! Above all though, the generosity & friendliness of the hosts Renee, Jan Jan & Patrice was exceptional. We were welcomed with 2 bottles of wine & Renee even drove a couple of us to the supermarket to buy essentials & waited while we shopped. Additionally, we rented bikes which couldn't be collected until after we left, & there was no issue with us leaving 9 electric bikes in the property & Renee liaising with the bike owner to arrange collection after we departed. Absolutely above & beyond. We will absolutely be back. Merci beaucoup. "

"We used this hotel to break a long journey twice. Could be cheaper for what you get. My son was bitten by bed bugs on the first stay. Had to prove on both stays that we had paid with bank statements and receipts as they tried to make us pay again. Paid for 5 breakfasts but we were only allowed to get 2 and refused to pay again for 3 more. Restricted 2 of my kids to one slice of bread each for breakfast! Aircon not working. Not obvious from the Expedia website that bathroom was not in the room. Not a problem but Expedia should make this more obvious and that you need your own towels. "

"I have been less then a night there, to arrive it was fine, the security was nice and explained how to do the check in, always doing his patrol around, so I felt safe with family. The bedroom was well cleaned , however the sink and bath plumbing was blocked , the dirty water wasn't going away, there was mold in the bathroom grout. I should not be there again unfortunately. Bed sheets , floor and litttle table was perfectly cleaned."
