Lovely hosts with a quiet, beautiful home

This large place is on the second floor of lovely stone house in the countryside just outside of Chateaurenard. It is very quiet and has a beautiful sunny deck on which we enjoyed several breakfasts and dinners. We could see 3 horses relaxing in the field outside our bedroom window and tried to greet the owner’s 2 cats. The owners were very hospitable and were kindly patient with my horrible French. Chateaurenard is close by for shopping. I highly recommend the bakery on the edge of the next town over - Barbentane - called Il Fournil de Serena for a tasty selection of breads.

Déception

Bon emplacement géographique. Les photos sont plus attrayantes que la réalité. Hormis l'électroménager (sauf la gazinière) et la literie qui sont récents, l'ensemble demande un très sérieux rafraîchissement tant dans le mobilier que dans la salle de bains, les WC les chambres, la cuisine... Le canapé est en fin de vie dépassée...

Super gite,très agréable avec son petit balcon...la propriétaire est plus qu'adorable ,chaleureuse et de bons conseils ,nous avions emmené notre petit chien ,nickel petites ballades sympa autour du gite ainsi que la voie verte,chateaurenard etai très animé,et beaucoup de coins a couper le souffle Avignon ,beaux de provence,st marie sur mer ,camargue et le colorado tout pour dépayser et un temps de rêve...Je le conseille fortement....

Sehr nette Vermieter. Wir waren 1 Stunde zu früh da, trotzdem konnten wir schon in die Ferienwohnung. Zur Begrüßung gab es 1 Flasche Wein. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

Le logement se trouve en position centrale pour visiter Nîmes, Avignon, Arles, la Camargue. Jeanne et Claude sont très accueillants et disponibles . C'était un super séjour. Merci!

SECTEUR AU CARREFOUR DE BEAUCOUP DE VISITES !

Nous connaissions très peu le région et nos hôtes ont été de bon conseil pour les visites à faire. Le logement est spacieux et très agréable. Situés au carrefour de 3 départements, nous avons passé 15 jours d'où nous revenons avec des souvenirs plein la tête de visites, d'échanges avec Claude et Jeanne, de bons légumes du soleil, du chant des cigales ... Nous recommandons vivement. Un petit point négatif pour Abritel toutefois : nos hôtes ont eu des difficultés à se faire payer rapidement notre séjour ! alors que notre premier versement date de mars 2021 pour un séjour en août.

a week in provence

it was a somewhat old fashioned but very traditional and very charming apartment. the beautiful balcony from which to have ones breakfast or dinner was absolutely perfect. added to which was the utterly delightful host and hostess. very helpful always. we will hope to return in the near future.

Gute Lage für Ausflüge, sehr nette Vermieter, toller Balkon

Sehr entspannte, nette und hilfsbereite Vermieter. Die Wohnung ist altmodisch, aber wir fanden sie sehr charmant. Das Highlight ist der stilvolle Balkon. Unser Hund wurde mit offenen Armen empfangen. Die Lage ist super, um Ausflüge nach Avignon, Arles, in die Alpillen und nach Baux zu machen.

Très bon accueil, des propriétaires discrets et attentionnés (salades et artichauts du jardin, bouteille de vin), connaissant bien la région et de bon conseil pour les visites. Un gîte confortable et propre, calme (aucun bruit). Il ne manque rien, tout est prévu pour le bien-être des vacanciers. Un séjour agréable, malgré un léger manque de soleil (eh oui !). Ce gîte est très bien situé, au carrefour des villes et sites magnifiques de la Provence. Nous recommandons ce gîte, sans hésitation...

Gîte très bien équipé et les propriétaires sont présents pour nos demandes. Gîte à recommander.

Les propriétaires connaissent bien la région et sont de bons conseils. Le gîte est proche de tous les sites gallo-romains ainsi que de nombreuses villes Avignon, Nîmes, Orange, Arles ainsi que de La Camargue et des villages de Provence - Gordes, Fontvieille. Nous pouvons rayonner aisément sans faire trop de kilomètres. De plus étant situé à Châteaurenard, tous les commerces sont proches ainsi que des restaurants. Agréable maison bien ombragée

Dépaysement assuré dans cette jolie région avec le chant des cigales ! Chaque jour un autre lieu à découvrir de cette belle Provence. La maison est bien spacieuse pour une famille. Encore merci pour le très bon accueil et la gentillesse de Jeanne et Claude et surtout les très bonnes tomates...

Pleasant stay

Jeanette and Claude are friendly hosts. we were welcomed with a bottle of wine The apartment is comfortable in a quiet surrounding. It was nice to have dinner on the veranda. The tomatoes which came from their farm were very tasty! All in a pleasant stay, with visits to Avignon, Arles and La camarque all within driving distance for the day.
