Luke bunk tiny cabin, hot tub, mountain & cityside
Summary:
Nestled at the foot of Lookout Mountain, Luke Cabin offers a private hot tub, furnished back deck, covered front deck with a charcoal grill, and a fire pit. It accommodates 6 guests and has a main bedroom, a sleeping loft, and built-in bunk beds.
The Space:
Wauhatchie Woodlands is a family-owned collection of quaint, tiny-home, rustic-comfort log cabins on a 14-acre wooded property surrounded by National Park land. This natural setting is nested less than a mile from the city with quick access to downtown Chattanooga, Ruby Falls, Lookout Mountain, and the surrounding area.
Named after Frank & Nicole's nephew, Luke Cabin is equipped with everything you could ever need to make the most of your time in Chattanooga.
Luke is one of our bunk bed cabins, perfect for families. During your stay, you’ll enjoy a private hot tub, furnished back deck, fire pit, covered front porch with charcoal grill, and an incredibly memorable, charming space surrounded by nature.
Luke can comfortably sleep up to 6 guests between the main bedroom, built in bunk beds, and sleeping loft. The cabin is equipped with a full kitchen, smart TV, and more.
Starting from the back, you’ll find the fully furnished deck, surrounded by decades-old trees, there awaits a space of pure relaxation, your private hot tub, with easy access to the main bedroom. Just beside the cabin is the shared fire pit and pavilion, perfect for fireside chats and evening s'mores. Firewood can be purchased on-property.
Inside, the main bedroom hosts a queen bed, closets for hanging clothes, lots of drawer storage, and a Smart TV. Just outside the bedroom are the built in bunk beds across from the full bathroom with bathtub.
A step further we enter the kitchen, fully stocked for cooking/dining with an electric range, microwave, stove, full-size fridge, dishwasher, and all the dishes you need to whip up a vacation feast. The living room and kitchen feature an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings with the main TV across from the sofa.
Up the staircase is the sleeping loft equipped with two twin beds. Kids will love having their own space. For grownups, clearance in the loft is low, just 4' - it’s perfect for sleeping, just watch your head when you get up.
The cabin’s covered front porch with dining set is the perfect place for a morning cup of coffee, or grilling out on your dedicated charcoal grill (guests must provide their own charcoal).

Cozy cabin with touches of luxury that were great for our family of three. Our young daughter loved the loft and we enjoyed the hot tub at night. The animals on the property were a plus and although we never got to making a fire, it would’ve been super easy!
We love staying here! It's adorable, clean, has all the supplies we need and the beds are incredibly comfortable. We stayed a few months ago too and my three year old asked to go back every single day.
Clean, safe, adorable cabin, and awesome location. Our girls loved the hot tub! Perfect for our family of 4! Would recommend to anyone needing a place to stay in Chattanooga
We will definitely stay again. The hot tub was awesome.
We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit area. Privacy was fine.
Great location. Overall, a great experience.
We absolutely loved our stay! The house was perfect. Very clean, well stocked, and comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub. It was a fun getaway and wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be back.

We stayed here for just one night. Cabin was clean and welcoming. Hot tub was very clean and relaxing. As stated in other reviews and the listing the train is loud. It’s very close to this cabin. It came several times thru the night. Check in and out was easy. If we were passing thru and need a place to stay we would stay again.
This place was perfect and the property was beautiful and clean. I wasn't able to get through the phone line listed (it was busy). We were going to try to check in early but couldnt get through the phone system, but otherwise it was perfect! Thank you fir a wonderful vacation stay!
First off,the Hosts are very quick to respond to any inquiry. They are willing to be as helpful as possible to make your stay amazing. They even helped us find canoe trips while there.
The cabin had everything we needed. The jacuzzi was relaxing, the firepit was also great; the teenagers loved making smores and roasting marshmallows. The hiking trail was authentic, it wasnt like a paved road in the woods, it was a very authentic hike. The pool and fitness center were perfect for us, we enjoyed it. We will definitely come back and enjoy this again.
Kids loved it. It was quaint and comfortable. I only rated three stars on the neighborhood bc we were kept awake from 11:30 pm til 2 am our first night due to due to a domestic disturbance at a neighboring cabin with people yelling and police officers with lots of blue flashing lights and lots of noise. I just pray everyone was okay.

Spring Fling Relaxation
It was a nice ride up but we were totally surprised with the train tracks about 75 feet from our cabins, side by side tracks close to a major rail yard. Trains ran almost every hour all day. We weree woken up throughout the night. We did however love the close proximity to plaes we wanted to visit and dining in downtown Chat was above average experiences. Thd cabin was clean, beds so comfortable and onsite staff was exceptionally nice. Aside from the trains i would recommed it. The hot tib was he best onsite amenity as we used it before and after we slept
