"The property was clean and the deluxe room spacious. It was basic but clean. The pillows marginal but bed comfortable. The outdoor seating area was very small but good for a quick meal outside for a group of 2-4. We did not use the pool area. The ice machine was working and helpful. The coffee situation was only in the room in a mini pot without a decaf option. There is no breakfast option. Walking within 2 blocks of several restaurants and shops. Was tourist area pricing ( high) for amenities."

"Harbor View Inn is a wonderful place to stay on Mackinac Island! It's only a few blocks from Main Street, walking distance of 10 minutes, yet far enough away from Main Street to be quiet & peaceful. The Inn is very clean, the staff was very helpful & friendly. Bike rental is cheaper at the Inn than other rental places & it's a short walk of about 6 blocks to the ferry landing. Our luggage was handled very well--picked up at the dock from the ferry & in our room before we even got there! They also transported our luggage to the ferry dock & put it on the ferry for us when we departed the island. All this was done at no cost! I highly recommend staying at Harbor View Inn!!"

The location is unbeatable right on the sandy beach of Lake Huron with stunning panoramic views of Mackinac Island, the majestic Mackinac Bridge, and the sparkling Straits of Mackinac. Waking up to the gentle waves and watching the ferries glide by was the highlight of our trip. We could walk to the Mackinac Island ferry terminal in minutes, and downtown dining and attractions were just a short stroll away. It's the perfect base for exploring everything northern Michigan has to offer. Whether you're here for a romantic getaway, a family adventure, or a peaceful escape, the Beachcomber delivers. "Room was very clean except for Mayflies. Breakfast was on the 3rd floor above the lobby. I am handicapped and there was 2 handicapped parking spots both taken before we got there so lots of walking /steps or crossing a full parking lot to get to lobby, breakfast or our hotel room. Location was great for Sheplers ferry, views of Lake Huron , fireworks, restaurants ect."

"Everything from start to finish was absolute perfection. The hosts were prompt to respond to any questions, the property was just as described. The home was complete with anything and everything you could need. All you needed was clothes and food, we certainly were not in need of anything. Dog friendly and that was a must in our book, we couldn't have had a better experience."

"The front desk clerk "Billy" was great when I checked in. I was able to check in early about 1:45 pm. He walked me to my room on the first floor and showed me where the ice machine was and where to get free coffee in the morning. I had a sliding door out the back of the room that was right on the river. The room was clean and had good hot water. Also had a small refrigerator and microwave in the room. Location was across the street from a Walmart and a Family Fare grocery store along with other retail shops. I will stay there next time I go to Cheboygan, MI."
