We booked four nights and were upgraded on arrival to the Chairman's Suite — an enormous, beautifully kept space, and the best room of our entire China trip. The location is hard to beat: right on Dongda Street, a short walk to Taikoo Li, with great food in every direction. The little things were done properly. The hotel's delivery robot brings takeout straight to your room door, which never stopped being delightful. The gym was excellent for a mid-trip reset. Staff were warm and efficient throughout, and at check-out the folio matched our booked rate to the cent — no surprises, no upsell charges, deposit handled clearly and without fuss. Calm, generous, and honest — we'd stay here again without hesitation, and we'd pick the Langbo over far more expensive names in Chengdu.

The room was spacious and the staff were attentive. It was a nice touch for them to prepare a nice panda theme dessert, a generous fruit basket and a cute stuff toy as a welcome gift. It made the welcome special.
