"A brand-new hotel, everything feels fresh. I was upgraded to a better room and really enjoyed the nice view. The hotel even provides earplugs, and the essential oil in the room smelled amazing — I loved the relaxing scent and atmosphere.
Afternoon tea was good as well. The hotel offers free yoga, singing bowl healing, and other wellness activities throughout the day, which can be booked in advance.

"It was amazing. The staff at the hotel, Ann and Caroline, were fantastic. They were very helpful, courteous in helping us after a long day on the train and getting us a free upgrade into a fantastic room. The room was very clean, warm and had an amazing view. The breakfast was very delicious as there was quite a bit to choose from. I am planning on staying at this hotel on my return journey back to Kunming.
