Modern hotel with lovely rooms and friendly staff. The communal areas and rooms are beautifully modern, with stylish, comfortable decor. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, which made our stay enjoyable. The room was very comfortable and a great place to relax, with lovely bed linen and a fresh modern feel. The rooftop pool was also a highlight, with comfortable loungers and a fantastic view from the top floor. Unfortunately, the Soma Lounge was a little disappointing. On two out of the three nights of our stay, there were insects on the plates of food at the buffet, which was quite off-putting. I did bring this to the hotel’s attention on two occasions, but unfortunately, they didn’t seem particularly bothered and I didn’t feel like anyone was going to take steps to address the underlying issue. Overall, the hotel has a lot going for it, particularly its modern design, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and lovely rooftop pool.

Good stay. The breakfast buffet is absolutely great with tons of options, South Indian, North Indian, continental, etc. and the spa is great for a relaxing massage. While the rooms are definitely on the smaller side, they are super clean and modern. My only critique is that they lack some basic 5-star amenities like a hot tub or a sauna in the wellness area. Overall though, it's a solid, clean, and decent place to stay in central Chennai!

Recently refurbished hotel with lovely rooms and decor. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Special thank you to Manisha for looking after us so well every day at breakfast. Only downside is that the location is on the main road which isn’t really suitable for walking.

As a Malaysian Tamil, traveling to Chennai with my family for prayer and leisure was very special, and our stay at Pullman Chennai Anna Salai made it even more memorable. The hotel is brand new, with a stunning modern interior and spotless cleanliness. I loved the signature hotel fragrance from the moment we entered to the toiletries used it created beautiful memories. What truly stood out was the exceptional staff service. From car arrival to every interaction, we felt warmly welcomed and personally cared for, including help arranging transport when needed. Breakfast was excellent, especially the South Indian spread, which my parents enjoyed in such a luxurious setting. Because of this wonderful experience, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chennai from Malaysia 🇲🇾

Stay was spoiled by loud music noise during the weekend as the room was above the event hall and we were not notified of this, had one sleepless night before we were moved to another room. Washrooms require bars/hooks to hang towels and clothes, shower requires fittings to put your own shamoo/soap and toileteries

Under renovation - cheap room, cheap experience

Hotel is under renovation - they did tell us right from the start. I guess the price was lower than expected for that reason. That said, a lot of the smaller things were far from 5 star level. The bedding, towels, toiletries were all just... okay? Nothing bad, but not premium. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Included breakfast was good but barely changed over 5 days so some variety would be nice.
