  • An incredible motorcycle museum! I found out about the place after seeing it on various tv shows, American Pickers, Chasing Classic Cars, and Jay Leno's Garage, included. Once you get inside, you really don't know how you are going to take it all in. It is huge! All of the motorcycles run and during our visit, the curator was starting and taking random bikes out for a spin. A must see!

Thanks so much to Bob for a wonderful stay -the cabin was perfect for our needs and it was so quiet that this was the best nights sleep we had our whole US trip! The brownies were exceptional too - we took them with us to snack on while driving across the US :)

It was a very serene,comfortable, and cozy stay. The cabin was very clean and had all we needed to start and end our day. Bob was very helpful and attentive. Parking was extremely convenient. The brownies brought by during our stay were delicious and appreciated. We hope we are able to return and enjoy the cabin again.

I met with Bob, the property owner. He is a very pleasant person. Explained all the things about the property and surrounding area and very responsive to text messages. The cabin is very clean and comfortable. It has a nice deck that is elevated and there is a creek down below. WiFi access was good and easy to login. Bob made brownies for us and the folks staying in his second cabin as a kind comfort.

Great place to unplug and relax

Cabin and property are perfect for relaxing. Caretaker has thought of everything, Keurig, kcups, extra fan, even charcoal and lighter fluid for the outdoor grill. Arrived to fresh homemade brownies in the kitchen. There is a full size kitchen not a kitchette. It is located close to everything yet remote, quite and relaxing. We are already planning our next getaway.

Peace & Quiet, free amenities!

Bob, the owner who lives next door, met us as we arrived. He was pleasant and hospitable and gave us the tour of the cabin and explained all its features and amenities. It is a wonderful cabin, not luxurious, more like home. A simple, fully equipped kitchenette with full sized stove and refrigerator were appreciated and used! The queen bed and suite were comfortable. The biggest selling point is the peace afforded by sitting on the wraparound porch and listening to the babbling brook as it glides under your feet. We were even treated to a batch of freshly baked, still warm brownies! We will be going back to Maggie Valley next year and we've already picked out our spot!
The babbling brook doesn't show so well but trust me, you know it's there!

We didn't like that the property was on a little hidden road. People were driving by very fast and it was difficult to get by them on a thin road. However, Bob, our host was a very nice man. He brought us some delicious brownies that he baked himself. You don't see that at any hotel! It was not good that there was no wi-fi in the cabin or shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom.

Very clean and cute place. We stayed in cabin #1. It was our honeymoon 😊. It’s in a quiet neighborhood but you can’t tell it fir all the trees. The rhododendrons were blooming and the creek was flowing. Very peaceful. We felt safe the whole time. Convenient to everything. Felt like ‘coming home’ at the end of every day. Bob is kind and easy to work with. Highly recommend the place. Thanks for the brownies, Bob...they were great!!

My daughter and I stayed two nights in the larger of two cabins. It is an exceptionally cozy two room cabin, very nicely furnished and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed using the gas fireplace during the rainy evenings.. Soon after our arrival, the owner brought us a plate of freshly baked brownies. The cabins are tucked away in a forested area with an inviting porch from which Misty Creek can be heard.

Great getaway for some relaxing time in a beautiful cabin. I enjoyed having my coffee on the porch listing to water from brook right in front of my cabin. Bob was terrific host to make sure of needs or questions. I look forward to rerun back for more R & R.

Bob, our host, was wonderful! We were welcomed with hot brownies straight from the oven. My husband and I have been maried with children for 26 years. This was ONLY our 2nd weekend trip with no kids. It was absolutely breathtaking. The cabin was so clean, and decorated so sweet. Nestled in the trees and so cool we didn't even need the Air Condition. The entrance to the cabin was from a huge deck overlooking a creek that was hypnotizing. We spent alot of our time rocking in the rocking chairs on the deck listening to the creek. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed relaxing in the rocking chairs on the porch overlooking a bubbling brook. The cozy cabin was very clean and the bed was comfy. The A/C window unit and ceiling fans helped to keep it cool. It had everything we needed including soaps and a hairdryer. There was a charcoal grill in addition to a fully equipped kitchen. The WiFi connection was a bit slow and may not work for streaming video, but it was fine for what we needed. The owner was friendly and even brought us delicious brownies. We would definitely rent this again.
