We had a marvelous 4 day stay escaping the Florida heat and enjoying the mountain lifestyle! This is a first-class rental with an immaculate cabin stocked with the essentials to make the things hassle free from beginning to end. The owners are excellent communicators who keep you informed throughout your stay. It is a beautiful cabin, and we had a wonderful time!!

Great Stay

Leave your troubles at home!

This was a wonderful cabin! The view was spectacular from the covered porch. There were cabins in close proximity but you would never know it because of the way it was situated on the lot—very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the fire-pit also and being able to have our pup with us. Lots to do in the area for those looking to get out. Perfection!

Quiet,except for the soothing waterfall sounds, and furnished with everything that we needed except wood for the fire pit which we told about in advance and also where we could purchase it

Christmas Getaway

I had a wonderful stay in this cabin. The drive up the mountain is beautiful, the neighborhood is quiet, and the space was perfect for me and my dog. The kitchen was well stocked with spices and cookware. There were beautiful Christmas decorations up when I arrived, making it a cozy getaway for the holiday season. I enjoyed spending evenings by the fire.

Beautiful Cabin & Great Hosts

This is a beautiful, peaceful and private cabin in the trees. There are plenty of fun amenities to enjoy at the property as well as everything you need to enjoy some great food and drinks. The hosts were kind enough to provide us with tons of information for local entertainment and outdoor recreation ideas also. 10/10 would recommend.

Amazing Stay!!!

We stayed at the Lazy Laurel Cabin over Thanksgiving and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful, well stocked cabin! We had everything we needed to cook a full Thanksgiving feast. Our boys loved playing pool and air hockey downstairs and watching movies on the big TV. We brought our dog who loved taking walks on the trails and the fenced in patio. 10/10 recommend!

Absolutely Amazing!!

The home and property are absolutely gorgeous and very homie. We loved every minute of our stay. Definitely secluded and far off the beaten path. Just what we wanted and needed! Everything was spotless and we couldn't say better things about the cabin or the owners. They are extremely responsive as we were here during hurricane Helene and had a few questions for them. We will be returning!

That porch!

The cabin is perfect. It was more than I expected. The kids (5, 9, 11) really enjoyed the downstairs with the game room and “autonomy.” The road to the cabin is intimidating for a Florida girl. Single lane, have to figure it out if someone comes the other way but adds to the adventure. I was in a Suburban and it’s do-able.

More than Expected!

I’ve stayed at several cabins in North GA and this location by far, provided more than expected! Not only was the property immaculately clean, there were unexpected “extra’s” that made the visit well worth the cost! The easy to read Welcome Guide was beautifully put together and included “need to know” information for making plans outside the cabin! There was an abundance of firewood onsite for us to keep fire pit going for hours as we enjoyed the sounds of water from a nearby stream. I wish we would have booked for longer but as my schedule opens up, I will definitely book that location again!

Peaceful and cozy

We spent a wonderful 2 nights/2 days at this Cherry Log cabin. The property was very clean, well maintained and not dated. We appreciated the fact that the owners thought of every possible thing that we may need while staying in their cabin: from cooking gadgets to extra towels, dog bowls, coffee pods etc. The amenities: the hot tub was new and well maintained, the pool table and the hockey table provided hours of entertainment for our teens. The location: The cabin is perfectly located in close proximity to the Mercier orchard, the Ocoee River whitewater rafting and shopping in the nearby towns of Blue Ridge and Mineral Bluff. Communication with the owners was easy and pleasant. We appreciated the brochure that was shared with us a few days before the arrival and the same brochure with details about the property was available at the property. We will be back again! Thank you for the pleasant, cozy and peaceful stay.

Secluded peaceful getaway

The road to get to the property can be a little intimidating at first, but well worth it! And the property is in a small community, but you would never know you had any neighbors once you are on the property. We spent most of our time on the back porch just taking in the natural beauty and sounds. Honestly our stress just faded away as we looked at the trees and mountains, and listened to the water flowing in the distance along with the birds enjoying the day. And at night we would sit in the hot tub and watch the fireflies! I can’t explain in words just how peaceful this place was for us… we absolutely loved it! To top it off they had an air hockey and pool table just to add more fun to the experience! We were able to visit waterfalls, the highest peak in Georgia, Blue Ridge, Ellijay and Helen… Honestly, so many beautiful areas within driving distance… It was amazing!!! The property alone had a beautiful view and it was so hard to leave there. I would recommend this place for anyone.. between the views and friendly and helpful property manager, it was perfect!
