About this property

Lakefront vacation Cabin on Pleasant River Lake.

  • Simple rustic floor plan on the main level over looking pleasant river lake. The upstairs is bare bones painted walls and floor, nothing is fancy. If your looking for a cottage that is pristine I'd probably I would look into something else , if you want to enjoy your time in a finished off camp that has wifi and some hot water then you will enjoy this place.
You can hunt, fish, swim and boat or just do nothing at all. If you want to be close to tourist attraction this is not the place for you. Most tourist towns are an hour away (Bar Harbor is 1 hr 20 min away). The lake has bass, splake, salmon, brook trout, and white perch. The property shares another rental that is next door( see google map in pictures) . The beach area is shared by both properties but is large enough to keep to yourself. There is no Cell service.
This house is shared with Property # 1823973.
Property is rented Monday-Monday due to availability of cleaning personal.

Perfect, quiet, hidden retreat

The cabin was exactly as described. The host was very hospitable, friendly, and helpful with questions about the area and things to do. Firewood was stocked, and later restocked when we ran out. The lake access was perfect. The kayak and canoe onsite was so convenient. The owls literally serenaded us to sleep. We would absolutely come back again!

Just what we needed

The lake front cabin has a beautiful view and easy access to the lake.. We really enjoyed kayaking and canoeing while fishing for bass. The cabin was clean and cooled off nicely in the evenings. The fire pit was ready to go with wood already chopped. We spent every evening sitting around the camp fire making s’mores. We were pleasantly surprised by the excellent cell service and fast wi-fi. The kitchen was equipped to make all our meals. There is a grill and a large table on the deck which is beautiful spot to eat dinner while enjoying the view.

Week on a mountain lake

Quiet mountain lake setting. Cabin was clean and had all basic services.. Owner was able to arrange for a kayak on site, which was greatly appreciated.

A HOT but Pleasant stay at PRL

This property is clean and is as described, a camp. The owners were easy to work with and we enjoyed the location, beach and lovely lake. It happened to be a very hot week, and the cottage was steamy! The cottage had most everything we needed and we enjoyed our stay. We hope to return again soon.
