"Great stay, clean hotel. Staff were helpful. Pool and spa were nicely maintained. Property is older and it shows but it’s a historic spot. Tour of the scandal room was fun."

"There are a ton of issues with the rooms. We had to be moved multiple times. It’s clearly an older hotel and they don’t keep up with the maintenance. There was also a party in the back garden area that you could hear throughout the hotel. Not a very good experience."

"This no A/C apartment, Only six parking lot.I don't know how they do business for summer. They should not be involved in Expedia's hotel business."

"Loved the room at first. It was like a small apartment. Good location and very comfy. We left for a few hours. Where we returned our room was 85 degrees! Like a sauna! The heat was turned on full blast throughout the building. The front desk apologized, but said there was nothing they could do. We slept, sweating, with the windows open. Not acceptable."

"The staff were friendly and helpful providing information about what was in the neighborhood. They even put out a stand of umbrellas on a rainy day! The extra space and having a kitchen area was a major plus. On the negative side we found an empty water bottle laying in the closet, cellophane candy wrappers on the floor in the living room, and had to get the "engineer" up to the room to fix the TV. Bathroom is very small with no countertops to put toiletries and there is a counter outside the bathroom but no mirror to do hair, make up, etc. Furnishings were serviceable although I personally found the bedding too hard and things like the kitchen cabinets and medicine chest could use replacing in my opinion."

"It was awfully rxpensive, but apparently there was a meeting going on in town so most hotels were booked and those that weren’t definitely had surge pricing! I’d have liked a vending machine with the ice machine on the halls. We just wanted to have a Coke in the room and you couldn’t. We even asked at the front desk if there was a vending machine anywhere nope so we went to the restaurant to order a couple to go (no room service option) and they said I’m sorry food and drink can’t leave our restaurant. I said not even a Coke? And was told sorry policy. So that was weird. Otherwise the room was spacious, the staff was nice. "
