"Lovely setting but no one there to give us the key even though we’d sent 2 emails requesting info regarding collection with time of arrival. Noise from 9pm TIL 4am so couldn’t sleep. Dog faeces on paths. Toilet broken. No microwave. Needs updating and cleaning of the shower room. Lounge and bedroom roomy and comfortable. "

"The hotel, breakfast and staff was fabulous however bedroom lacked some basic items/facilities which you would expect in a hotel of this standing such as no bedroom safe for your valuables, no bottled drinking water, no GBnews on the TV.
However we are regular visitors to Buxton and look forward to staying at the Crescent Hotel again.

"We weren't advised there was a pool, so we didn't get to use it. Staff were all lovely, especially receptionist who booked us in.
But the second lift being out of order meant we had to wait for the lift when checking out.
There was a chair in our room [118] that needed joints gluing and could have collapsed, and somewhere in the bathroom is leaking damp, resulting in a few harmless fruit flies and damagedbath panel and skirting. "
"Great place to stay clean room lovely comfy bed good shower. 2 mins walk from the railway station. 24 hour manned reception good coffee! Would not hesitate to recommend this venue for a convenient night out in Nottingham. Parking 5 mins walk away which was ideal for us with a car. Late checkout was also available after a later night out at reasonable price too. Will definitely stay there again. Shampoo conditioner body wash in the bathroom too if you forget yours!"
