"Do not stay at New Barcavela under any circumstance. We booked this hotel for our honeymoon, and it completely ruined our trip. The property is severely unhygienic and heavily infested with cockroaches; we found them crawling in the bathroom, making the space entirely unusable. Furthermore, the hotel is a consumer scam. "Pros: Met vier gezinnen (kinderen met verschillende leeftijden), alle appartementen voor een week gehuurd. We kwamen in een net huis, met fris opgemaakte bedden. Er is een ruime tuin met veel schaduwplekken om te zitten en te liggen. Op loopafstand van de zee met kiezelstrand, wel is het laatste stuk naar het huis steil om te lopen. "The setting for the hotel is beautiful. It’s quite a quiet hotel and kids are technically welcome at the Conrad but it didn’t feel like that. There is however a great and bigger pool at the Village as part of the broader resort so that was great and the beach is gorgeous. The kids club staff are really lovely and have lots of energy. Rooms are great and location great for exploring beautiful beaches."

"Das Haus ist super und liegt auf einem Hügel ( steile Auffahrt) in toller Lage mit herrlichem Blick auf Meer und Berge. Alles was man braucht ist vorhanden und gepflegt. Der Garten ist wunderbar und umzäunt so das wir unseren Hund frei laufen lassen konnten. Einfach super und sehr entspannend. Was man wissen muss: Die 300 Meter zum Strand sind eine sehr phantasievolle Schätzung. Man geht etwa 12 Minuten. Die Hotels in der Nähe haben abends ein Unterhaltungsprogramm da dann auch im Haus hört. Um 23:00 ist aber immer Schluss und man kann die himmlische Ruhe genießen."

"We had a wonderful stay. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the beach, making it perfect for enjoying the sea without needing to drive. The property is beautiful, surrounded by a lovely, well-maintained garden that creates a relaxing atmosphere. We also appreciated the secure on-site parking area, protected by a gate. One of the highlights was the breakfast: without a doubt one of the best international breakfasts we have enjoyed in Sardinia, with a wide variety of both sweet and savoury options, all delicious. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They allowed us to park both on the day of check-in and on the day of check-out, and they also provided luggage storage, which made our stay even more convenient. Our room was charming, decorated with traditional Sardinian textiles and featuring a lovely balcony overlooking the garden. A truly enjoyable stay in every respect. Highly recommended!"

"Had a great time at Via Floridiana! Everything was according to the descriptions so no surprises. Very nice, accurate and friendly communication too. Pool was lovely. Location for beaches as central as it gets if Chia / Domus de Maria is your destination. Ice cream and pool table next door at the resort, so happy kids."

VILLA "SEA DREAM"...SPECTACULAR CHIA SEA VIEW

"Absolutely beautiful place and great location. Property owner was great about communicating, gave us some great suggestions for markets and restaurants. The Villa is close to a resort that has an amphitheatre which had music two of the 6 nights that we were there and it was very loud and went very late. That was the only negative."

"I cannot recommend Alessandra’s place more highly. It was the perfect place for our break in Sardinia. Private, spacious, and well equipped with everything you’d need. We enjoyed tennis and cooking outside, sunbathing on the roof, and were within 5 minute drive of some of the must stunning beaches. Would absolutely recommend staying. We also fell in love with the very sweet local cat who comes with the place. Magic!"

"Communication with host was excellent. Our flight was late, we arrived at the villa at 11pm, it was not a problem. Both Diego and his lovely mother greeted us on our arrival, making us feel at home. Furthermore, Diego had made sure we had a selection of breakfast/lunch items available until we could go shopping, which was so helpful and appreciated. Diego was in touch throughout our stay making sure we were ok, offering to make bookings for us and recommending places to go/see. The villa is gorgeous, very relaxing and well equiped. The pool was amazing, cool and clean after a day out at the beach. The view from the villa is stunning. We loved our stay, thank you Diego. "
