The public areas (eg, driveway, lobby, lifts) and rooms were always clean and tidy. The staff were beyond helpful, both at the front desk, the concierge, and housekeeping. The buffet breakfast was terrific. The decor in the rooms is a bit dated, but the rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Our favorite hotel in all of Chiang Mai

This is a fantastic hotel, excellent in every way. We have stayed there at least three times and are never disappointed. The staff are all first-class, from Alex the manager to housekeeping. The fees are very reasonable for the value. We visit Chiang Mai every year, and the Centara is our favorite hotel in all of Chiang Mai.

I have been staying in Centara Riverside every time I come to Chiang Mai for the past 5 years. The room is spacious with view. The breakfast buffet is tremendous. However, the bathrooms in the room desperately needs upgrade/remodel. Another complaint is long wait for the 5 guest elevators during checkout time, up to 30’minutes wait for a vacant elevator
