An utter dump

I was directed to my room, the bed wasn't made room, and full of litter from previous occupant. I complained and was given another room which was barely acceptable. I did stay, purely because I was shattered after 26 hours travelling without sleep. 1st thing I did next day, search for new accommodation!! I wouldn't stay here again if they paid me, filthy and unfriendly!!!!

stayed 1 night and moved out.

Rooms not up to hotel standard. No fridge in 1 of the rooms. Shower a mere trickle. Telephone in rooms but no connection Toilet leaked on flushing This hotel is cheap for the younger people not for longer stay visitors. Maid just unlocked door ,without knocking, and walked in to collect a cleaning cloth. She did apologize but a knock on the door would be better. She thought I had not moved in. I was very disappointed with Lanna Lodge so we moved out next day Another visitor checked in same day and had paid for 28 days. He moved out same day.

Not the best experience.

The condition of the hotel was overall dilapidated. Seemed rather dirty upon entrance. You could tell what looked like their little cafe in the front of the hotel was abandoned. The reception was okay. We asked if we could drop off laundry with their express laundry service and they said yes and said it would be ready next day. We checked in next day and the girl blankly stared at us and said it wasn't ready and would be ready the following day. Good thing we still had extra clothing to use. The rooms were musky and our AC didn't work. At least the fan did, but it didn't oscillate as it should. The towels smelled musky and while they were still wet they would refold them and place them on the bed vs. letting them air out as they should or replacing them with new towels. The bathroom area would get flooded during a shower which is fine as it would drain eventually. It was just not as great when you had to use the bathroom as the floor was completely wet since the toilet and shower shared the same floor with no divider.

I would do it again

The best part of this hotel was the location. We were only a few blocks from the main gate. There was always a lot going on there. The rooms were adaquate. They were basic. If you are expecting to be blown away you will be disappointed. They do have all the things you need to get by.

Vous pourriez facilement trouver mieux

Points positifs : emplacement près de la Vieille Ville, du Night Bazaar et des marchés de fin de semaine. Points négatifs : la propreté des lieux laisse quelque peu à désirer, il y a des fourmis dans la salle de bains, les murs et les fenêtres laissent passer tous les bruits, il y a beaucoup de motocyclistes et de chiens qui squattent la ruelle derrière l'hôtel. Bref, vous pourriez trouver beaucoup mieux au même prix.

good, if not expecting much

mold on the shower curtain. hot water, but shower nozzle needed to be replaced. lumpy bed. small and cramped room. housekeeping every few days. centrally located, but on a quiet street. too expensive for what you get.
