I thought this was a great value hotel. Nothing I didn't like. Arrival and departure were easy and straight forward. Room was clean and comfortable and cosy. Suited my overnight needs perfectly. Staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed breakfast at the Elephant and Castle!

This hotel is in the perfect area, plenty of great food places surrounding an easy to access nice landmarks so a perfect place for someone coming from out of town to enjoy the city. The staff is friendly an accommodating. It would be nice if the rooms had a fridge to keep food in so that may the only negative. Other than that would definitely stay again.

The hotel was quiet and clean. Staff was courteous. The Elephant and Castle Restaurant served an excellent complimentary breakfast with a lot of choices. Their dinners were also excellent and their staff was courteous.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the hotel and my stay considering the room was significantly less than others in the area. My room was small and nothing fancy but it was clean, quiet, and the bed was comfortable. A small fridge would have been nice but there didn't seem to be much space for that in the room, perhaps some of the bigger rooms have other amenities. I would recommend this hotel and stay there again should I be in the area.

Incredibly overpriced for the quality and cleaniness of the room. Staff at the check in doesn't even want to check you in but rather redirect you to the self-check in kiosk. Walls are very thin and can hear everythng. Please do not stay at this hotel but look for a better one.

It's good place to visit the most valuable things in Chicago downtown. By foot you can walk to Willis tower in about 10 min. And to the Millenium Park and the most traditional scenery.

If you are looking a place to stay within the loop this is your option. Subway, bus, and even Millennium Park is walkable from the hotel.

The rooms are small but well kept and clean. You do hear everything in the rooms next to you. My neighbor kept me up half the night, but they were excessive with their loud talking and door slamming. The staff was polite and professional. I loved the self check in/check out. The location is convenient and near lots of shopping and restaurants. I had difficulty lowering the temperature, so the room was too warm for a deep sleep for me. So there was good and bad but for an over night stay it was fine.

Great choice for a downtown Chicago Hotel. Everything we wanted to explore and see around the area was within walking distance. If it wasn't, trains were right there to hop on and go further. Property was clean and quiet.

This hotel is decent, but I consider it somewhat overpriced given the level of quality it offers. Its proximity to the place I needed to visit and other nearby attractions made it convenient for me. However, it's clear that the building is quite old and in need of a thorough cleaning, particularly the carpets, bathrooms, and windows. Despite not being overly particular, I couldn't shake the feeling of dust lingering in the air. Additionally, there was a peculiar smell in the bathroom. On the positive side, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was generally peaceful.

The staff we encountered was very friendly. They also responded to requests in a timely manner. The room was really small and there's no mini fridge. We had issues with our TV working the entire trip. They do not do daily housekeeping unless you request it. This is a pet peeve of mine when you're paying so much for a room. Our sink dripped constantly and the water came out crooked. You basically have to check yourself in and out on these tablets. No breakfast included. When we go back, we will look elsewhere. Too expensive for so little service.
