The driveway is very long, with ample space for multiple cars. That said, we highly discourage parking in the back, as the driveway narrows considerably and larger vehicles might not be able to fit comfortably down that part of the driveway. Furthermore, we recommend parking in front of the house due to the proximity to the front door.
You will use a code to enter the house via the front door. This will be your code for the duration of your stay. We ask that all guests enter or leave the property only by the front door. I loved how organized the hosts are from cleanliness of the home to the detailed instructions for maintenance during our stay. We will most likely come for another stay this summer to enjoy the warmer weather and other summer activities to do in this neighborhood!
Very accessible to everything we needed. We did not have a car but we founf great take out, groceries and train access to chicago. There were two food options within walking distance that we enjoyed. Could easily get groceries and access to drug store for necessities was also close. Also used uber very easily. The space was exceptionally clean and the host was in contact and super helpful. Would definitely book here again.
We were in town for a family gathering, not sight seeing but found plenty to do once our event was over. The location to places on the west side of Chicago was great. We spent time at the Moton Arboretum, Cantigny, and the St. Therese National Shrine....all wonderful places for walks in
My family really enjoyed our time in your home. It was well kept and had every item we needed for our stay. The backyard was an added bonus as it was a nice place to relax with our cups of coffee. Thank You. We will be back!
The hosts were fantastic—very friendly and accommodating. The property itself was excellent, tucked away from the main road yet within walking distance of several restaurants, shops, and a supermarket. I would wholeheartedly recommend staying here if you're planning a trip to the Chicagoland area!
We found Vic and Grace through another app, but ended up booking with them on Vrbo after a ton of issues. Even after 4-5 days of them waiting on us to book, they were super kind and responsive to all our setbacks! The home was super clean and cozy, and had everything my group of 5 could ask for. They even let us hand out candy on Halloween! 10/10 will be booking with them again.
