Home was exactly how it is listed. Very clean especially for a basement unit. Location was awesome for catching a game at Wrigley Field & exploring the area on foot. ONLY downfall was the bed was terribly uncomfortable. It would be a 5/5 if not for the bed. Would definitely recommend!

Solid, affordable garden apartment. Great shower water, great sheets. (that’s what ‘s important to me)Optional parking is a little pricey, but others simply add that to their base cost, so…Proximity to a variety of public transport is a huge plus (Ventra 3-day pass is only 15!)

Location was perfect. Unit was clean and free of any odors or smells. Everything needed for our stay was supplied. The Bad…. All the prior complaints about the bed hold merit. Bed and pillows lack in every aspect. Sheets and linen clean but that bed was absolutely the worse I’ve ever had to deal with and I’ve been in 12 hotels in forgotten towns in the backwoods of France. The pillows just surrender space when used. The trash can lid was broken and now serves as a burden to overcome every time you use it. Due the unit being a basement apartment a quality moisture wicking mat is needed inside

Great area - Within safe walking distance of activities

Great area to stay ... Felt very safe for a first time visit to such a large city. Within walking distance to lots of activities and venues. Unit was clean and tidy and perfect for a couple of friends to spend a weekend together in the windy city.

Place is what was advertised. It was everything i needed. It was 5 mins from family. Parking in yard was great! Host called to check on us!! He was very responsive before arriving and after!! Would stay again.

Birthday Baseball Getaway

Great location, easy walk to Wrigley Field. Close to so much. Only negative, would be that bed was not comfortable. Needs a new mattress. But would definitely stay again.

Good location but some issues

Great location and easy check in process. Mattress was really hard and uncomfortable, and extra comforter provided for couch was dirty and stained. Place definitely needs some TLC. Communication was tough. Upon arrival I messaged owner with a parking question and to let him know the thermostat was not working. It was 66 degrees that night in the unit. I never got a reply and messaged again the next afternoon. He then replied and it was fixed. I think a 24 hour response is unacceptable when renting a property.

Super close to Wrigley

Ceilings are a little low (I’m tall) but it’s a basement unit so not unexpected. Can’t beat the location for catching a baseball game or a show at Wrigley.

Location, Location, Location

We have been to Chicago visiting family many times. The main reason for our visit this time was to see our Philadelphia Phillies vs Cubs at Wrigley Field with friends who have never been there. We didn't need to rent a car because we were within walking distance (.2 miles - 5 minutes!) to the field. (We also took a tour of Wrigley the day before the game which was really awesome!) The Racine house is in a beautiful, quiet, safe and well-maintained area of Chicago. It was fun to walk around and check out the architecture and flower gardens. (Lots of nice bars and restaurants too.) It was also a short walk to catch the "L" and explore downtown Chicago. We went to Millennium Park where we saw the "Cloud Gate" sculpture, Lurie Garden, stunning architecture, and caught a free blues act at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion. The Racine apartment itself was very clean, cozy and well appointed. The only negative comment I have is that the living room was super cold and the bedroom was warm. There was also an issue with the Wi-Fi which we were not using, nor planning to use. I only gave four stars for the accuracy of the listing because I think it may be a little cramped for four adults in a basement apartment. Definitely plan to come back again!

Perfect location to stay in Wrigleyville. Just two blocks away from the ballpark, and easy to get in and out of Cubs games. Plenty of places within walking distance for food and entertainment beyond the Cubs, and the drive to and from downtown is not bad either. Space is cozy for 2-3 people, and is well kept. Parking is a bit limited on the street, but the owner does provide options for either daily parking tickets or offstrett

Location Location Location The apartment was one block from Wrigley Field. Beautiful neighborhood. Apartment was very clean and had all that we needed. If you are using the off street parking, do not bring a big vehicle (like a full size truck) Space is tight but great for regular size vehicle. Would stay again.

Location was everything here. We were in town for a wedding and our puppy got spayed so this property being pet friendly was perfect. Walking distance to Wrigley, bagels, CVS. Couldn’t have asked for something more convenient.
