A Hagrid's Inspired Stay

Come stay in our favorite Groundskeeper's Hut at Fable Realm! The Keeper of Keys' Hut is set on our private 40 acre location. Try your skill at the scavenger hunt, relax by a fire outside (giant-sized cauldron ), watch the birds enjoy the pond from outside of this magical stone space just down the hill from The Burrow, and near Fairytale Cottage. Visit nearby Lookout Mountain, Chickamauga, Chattanooga or just RELAX and watch Harry Potter documentaries while enjoying a cold Butterscotch beer!

Birthday Celebration

My sister and I stayed here to celebrate our birthdays. We had so much fun at Hagrid’s Hut! It was clean and smelled good. Close enough to town to get groceries or food, plenty of local places to eat or grab coffee. Host was so great, perfect communication. Loved our experience!!!

Total HP experience!

My wife is the Potter fan and I booked this for her. She was amazed by the accuracy of the”Hut” and all the treasures inside. The property is amazing and quietly tucked away. We both enjoyed our stay even though it was just one night. She plans on going back with our daughters who are also big Potter fans.

Fabulous stay in every way.

Hagrid's house was absolutely the most amazing cabin we have ever enjoyed. The adults and children all had fun. It was comfortable and cozy, and we felt we were in a movie set, but at home also. The owner was extremely helpful when we needed to make a change in our plans. She went above and beyond her requirements. She even let us look in another amazing cabin that was not rented. We will definitely be returning.

This was a wonderful weekend getaway

Kristi clearly keeps the property clean and well dressed. Check in was quick and simple. The owners are polite and helpful. I would suggest this location for anyone looking for a quiet and down to earth stay.

Pure magic

A part of me doesn't want to leave a review because I want to keep this place all to myself!! But it needs to be shared and enjoyed by all who appreciate attention to detail and the magic/awe of whimsy. Kristi has created a really special place - one that is entirely immersive and leaves you feeling like you have truly escaped into a fairy tale. Hagrid's stay has everything you need - basic kitchen amenities, good sized bathroom, comfortable bed, large couch, ample seating, tvs - and lots of extra touches that are over the top good in every way. Well worth a visit or two or three. Thank you!!⚡

Awesome Stay

What a magical place. My family really enjoyed staying here, which is close to some great hiking and activities. I would suggest updating the information on the VRBO site, though. There is not an oven or stove. There is only a mini fridge with no freezer, two plates, two forks, and no bowls. I understand that the owners do not want cooking in the hut because of smells and preserving the place, but it would have helped to know this ahead of time so we could have packed differently and brought a cooler for ice, etc. The owners are so nice and great at communicating other than this.

Amazingly Authentic!

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to experience the home of our most beloved gamekeeper? Wonder no more! This place is the real deal. Our jaws hung open from moment we walked in and bolted the huge wooden door, as we walked around taking in every authentic inch of this cozy cabin. I'm still not sure we saw everything! Kristi was very helpful and attentive when we contacted her. She even let us take a tour of her other houses on the property. Wow! They were equally amazing. This was such a cool and memorable experience for me and my daughters. We can't wait to stay in The Green Dragon next...or will we choose The Burrow...?

Wow!!!

From the moment we walked through the 9 foot front door, it was "Whoa" or "Wow". The details were utterly amazing, each time we looked at something, we'd see more things we missed when we looked there before. We rented the Burrow and Hagrid's Hut and traveled with 4 adults and 2 teenagers. So many neat things we loved about this place, but don't want to spoil the surprise. We stayed one night and picked up breakfast supplies at the Walmart in Fort Oglethorp, a short distance away. The house only has a microwave, sink and coffee maker, along with a dorm sized fridge so plan on eating out. Kristi was very responsive and made sure my parents who were staying at the hut were comfortable and taken care of. She let us check out some of the other houses that were vacant, we can't wait to go back down and stay at one of them! What an awesome experience and fun getaway weekend!

The most unique place to stay, especially if you’re a Harry Potter fan! Felt just like we were actually staying with Hagrid, minus Hagrid. On a quiet property, very relaxing time!

The perfect stay for any Harry Potter fan

We absolutely loved our stay! It was so cozy and peaceful and the best sleep we’ve ever had. We loved that Harry Potter played on the TV the whole time, adding to the atmosphere. They went all out on creating an inside space that feels authentic. Kristi was super quick to respond and help with any questions.

Magical stay!

This has got to be one of the best weekends I’ve had! The property was so serene up in the mountains and the surrounding area was beautiful! I couldn’t believed how much theming fit inside the house and I discovered something new inside every day. Kristi was a fantastic host and she was so helpful and accommodating!
