Farmhouse - A private sanctuary Hayride included with 3 or more nights

Farmhouse on 5 secluded acres, surrounded by over 1400 acres of privately owned land. The only neighbors you will see are the cows or horses that may wander by. Only a 30 min drive to Chattanooga and all the city has to offer. The screened back porch features a dining table and views of the property. Deer, turkey and an abundance of birds frequently visit the backyard. Roast marshmallows in the firepit and look at the stars away from city light pollution. The large yard has plenty of room to throw a baseball or play football. Cloudland Canyon, Pigeon Mountain are both close by with hiking trails and waterfalls for you to enjoy. McLemore Golf Course, with the best finishing hole in America is a short 20 min drive up lookout mountain. The interior of the home has been renovated with guest comfort and convenience in mind. Both bathrooms feature walk in showers. The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed to cook a large meal or make a nice cup of coffee. High speed WiFi is available to stream of all your devices. The large screen TV in the living room allows all seats to enjoy the show. Private tours of the neighboring farm can be arranged for little ones (or those young at heart) to see horses, cows, goats and chickens up close. Hayrides with views of lookout mountain available, included with 3 or more nights.

Weekend getaway

We always look forward to staying here when we are in the area visiting family. The property is always spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing. Melissa is very responsive, gracious and thoughtful. The location is perfect—close to everything but still very quiet and relaxing.

Beautiful farmhouse

This is our second stay at this beautiful property. This time we spent most of our time just relaxing by the fire pit. So peaceful and relaxing! We will be back.

Beautiful property! Plenty of room for our family of five adults.Cloudland park only 20 minutes away. Great local BBQ at Lucky IQ only a short drive away. Owner was great to work with throughout our stay.

Great Stay

Had a wonderful spring break vacation - great location close to Chattanooga and plenty of hiking. House was well appointed, had everything we needed, and was very comfortable for our family of 4. Fire pit was fun and we enjoyed watching the wildlife at the adjacent lake.

Chickamauga

So quiet and relaxing. We found the farm spotlessly clean, comfortable. Stars at night were amazing, the property was so beautiful. Easy access to hiking, Chattanooga and surrounding areas. Such beautiful country. Hosts very gracious - had a birthday treat for my husband! We will definitely come again.

Perfect house for a vacation!

We stayed the week of Thanksgiving and it was perfect! The grounds are beautiful and the house is great for hanging out with family! It is close enough for activities in Chattanooga and stores are within a 15 minute drive. Hosts are fantastic!

Amazing stay

To start, the house was spotless and beautiful. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen nicely equipped. The property was secluded and peaceful. We loved stargazing and sitting around the fire pit. The house wasn’t far from Chattanooga at all. Communication was excellent and prompt. I highly recommend this property!

Amazing long weekend

We had an amazing 4 night stay at FarmHouse while exploring NW Georgia. The house is very clean and wonderfully furnished. It has everything that you could need. The outdoor space of the property was quiet and beautiful. The host regularly checked in to make sure that we had everything that we needed. Our kids loved the time that we spent and are already asking to book here again next year.

Perfect getaway

Wonderful home, private and peaceful. We enjoyed our time in your beautiful home. The screened porch was the best, we had all our meals outside and loved playing cards every night listening to the night sounds around us. We were in town visiting family. I was very happy with our stay. The house was excellent! It felt new and clean. The beds were comfortable, the neighborhood was quiet. I loved the back porch and there was plenty of room for kids to run around and play outside. Will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property

The house was very clean, up to date, and comfortable. There was no contact information sheet when we arrived (which would have been helpful) but Melissa was very responsive via VRBO messaging and did drop a sheet off to us.

Exceptional Hosts!

We had an incredible stay at this charming farmhouse! The owners were exceptional, going above and beyond by interacting with our family during the hay ride, which really added a personal and warm touch to the entire experience. The house itself was inviting, spacious, and perfect for our family and the occasion we were celebrating. From the cozy decor to the beautiful surroundings, every detail made our stay comfortable and memorable. We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our weekend. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a welcoming, family-friendly getaway near Chattanooga!

Chattanooga Escape

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the home. It was close enough to downtown, but far enough away from the hustle and able to see the stars. (30min drive) The home was super clean and stocked with nice cookware/knives - which is difficult to come by! We really enjoyed our time there. The decor and property were lovely!

Short stay in Chickamauga

We booked this property last minute and could not have been more pleased. The hostess communicated all details well in advance and was quick to realize that we needed a pack and play for our little one. The house was extremely clean with welcomed little extras. The property is beautiful. Our only regret was that we did not have more time to enjoy it.

Great hospitality

Above and beyond. The house was cleaned just hours before we arrived and it smelt great. The propane grill worked. The location is secluded, away from road noises but just minutes to Walmart, etc. Every amenity worked: bathrooms, WiFi, doors, lights, TV. The kitchen had everything that we needed and we stayed/prepared meals there for two days. We are definitely going to stay here again soon.

Peaceful retreat

We loved staying here! The house is spacious and comfortable. It could not have been cleaner. The kind hosts provided s’mores supplies, wood, and fire starters to use outdoors around the fire pit. Fall colors are just starting to show. It was cool to have a true country setting with a nice front porch, a hitching post, and a rooster (only heard him when I opened the front door this morning).

Beautiful farmhouse

We are a group of nurses who get together every couple of months for the weekend. We have stayed in many homes, but this was by far the best! We look for comfort and quiet in our stays, and this more than fit the bill. So many elegant touches, it was really classy. I can’t recommend it any higher. It gets an 11 /10 stars and we will be back many more times. The owners could not have been nicer or more patient with my questions. The only thing I could recommend to make the stay any more pleasant would be window coverings in the living areas. This was a really great experience for us.

Beautiful secluded home

Beautiful home secluded from main road. My grandkids were able to run around the yard and play. Nice larege screened porch, fire pit that we made smores that the owners were nice enough to leave all the things we would need, updated decor with very comfortable beds. Kitchen had all the essential items for cooking, and baking. The owner was very easy to communicate with over text on app. Check in was extremely easy. Walmart with some dining options was about 12 minute drive away. I would definitely stay again!
