Formerly the Music Express Inn: We purchased James's grandparents beautiful Inn and we are very excited to reopen our home to guests! Beautiful location near Bidwell Park. This listing is for a spacious guest unit with a private entrance and private bathroom. It's nestled on a green acre only moments away from Bidwell Park: about 5 minutes on foot!

The space
This unit is over 400+ sq/ft and has a full size bathroom, closet, microwave, minifridge, coffee pot and tea kettle. It is furnished with a dining table with seating for two, sofa and 3 occasional tables. All of our guest rooms are professionally cleaned with new linens and fresh towels.

Guest access
This room is on the second story of the Inn. Up two flights of stairs. You will have your own private entrance and bathroom. Plenty of parking available on site.

Perfect place for our overnight stay

This was the perfect place for our overnight stay in Chico. The location was great (close to Chico State), the room was very clean, bed was comfortable, host was very communicative and easy to work with. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. We enjoyed staying here!!

Cute, quaint and quiet

This is a cute, renovated inn that has great proximity to downtown and a neat, new neighborhood called Meriam Park. They are also situated close to Bidwell Park. Room was clean, everything needed was provided. No TV, which wasn’t an issue for us, but might be if you have children with you. Quick drive in to downtown, Bidwell, Mariam park- all with good dining and activity options. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful stay and just as described

The room was great and furnishings made it seem like a home away from home. My wife and I enjoyed the warm cozy feel of the property and for our stay it was centrally located from Chico State and Bidwell Park and the hikes that we wanted to do. Will definitely be staying here again.

Wonderful, super cute, and close to downtown Chico little get away! Great communication with the owner, Tiffany, too. She gave easy to understand directions, parking instructions, and checking in was easy! We had a very pleasant stay!

Cute & Comfortable

This is cute old Inn that the family is repurposing back into an Inn. Located in a quiet residential area, the room was just as described. It's older, but it reminds me of being at grandmas house, I was very comfortable, had a new AC unit and fans. Bed was comfy, room was clean, no odors or od smells. Good water pressure and hot water. After a day of exploring, it was always great coming back here to reset and feel refreshed again. I will definitely be back here again!

Quiet and clean

I’ve stayed here a few times. The rooms are clean. Furnishings are simple and pleasant. Jim and Tammy and Fiona are quite nice and responsive. Left my extra set of car keys once. They were good enough to send them to me. I will stay there again.

Such a cute property with a comfy bed!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here Tiffany was awesome and quick to respond with questions. What cute grounds. Great little garden growing in front with big artichokes! Our upstairs room was so comfy, spacious and nicely decorated. The AC was wonderful! And made it so much more comfy! No problem with wifi always a bonus!! We will definitely be back here next time visiting our son in Chico!!

Located near Bidwell Park

Location was very quiet just on outskirt of town with good directions from host. Host was responsive with my questions. Size of studio was great. Controls for Hvac set by host and no way to control it for my own comfort except to contact her. King bed a little tired, so firmness uneven. Overall it worked for my short stay.
