Property: 40 secluded acres, ball field, yard games, volleyball area, fire pit with wood, ravine with trails, a meditation garden and labyrinth.
Home: 6000 total sq. ft., living room, family room, tv room, master suite, large country kitchen, Dining area, 3 interactive play rooms, 6 bedrooms, 2 bunk rooms, 4 bathrooms, laundry area, large deck with barbecue. Its a place where kids can create and play for hours. Bring your kids and enjoy a fun quiet country retreat.
We do allow events up to 50 people with an additional $2500.00 event fee, if planning an event contact host prior to booking to set up a site visit.

Wonderful home and property for a family vacation. Great place for children of all ages as our grandchildren from 6 months to 19 years enjoyed the various playrooms and activities. The older ones particularly enjoyed the zip line.

Awesome cabin

We had an absolutely perfect stay at this cabin. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked, making meals a breeze, and the fun tunnels on the property were a unique highlight. With nature and trails everywhere right outside the door, it was an ideal spot for both relaxation and outdoor adventure.

Our family rents properties annually and we had stayed at this property in 2022. The kids call it "the slide house"! It is by far, the favorite property we have ever rented! Between the Zip line, volleyball, kickball, hiking, soccer - the outdoor activities are endless! But the best part is the house! Slides in the walls, the lego room, the giant block room...really a dream house for our family. The kids cry when leaving! I cannot recommend this property more highly!

Returning Visitors

This was our second time staying here and it was just as great as the first! The kids and adults alike were excited to venture in the tunnels and enjoy the multitude of play spaces. In addition, the house sits on such a beautiful property with hiking trails, disc golf, volleyball, and even a zipline. It's also in a beaitiful area and we took advantage of nearby whale watching tours. We'll definitely be back again!

Perfect for a large group with kids!

We've stayed here twice now with a big group of friends, including 10 kids between ages 5-12. The kids have a blast in all the play rooms and tunnels, while the parents enjoy lounging in the comfortable living rooms. Love that the kitchen is well setup for feeding a large group.

Great family gathering place!

We had such an enjoyable stay! There is something for everyone and the kids played for hours each day in the variety of play spaces. The kitchen had everything that we needed and more, and so organized. Very high marks for this property!

While the house is definitely set up for larger groups, our family of 5 enjoyed every minute of our stay! Easy check in, good communication, and everything was exactly as described. Home provided all we needed for a great trip in a beautiful setting!

A delightful home!

Our family of 10 adults and 7 children had a delightful experience at the Blue Mountain Retreat. The house was wonderful for kids and adults alike. The property is beautiful and has convenient access to the surrounding area. Highly recommended!!

Great vacation home!

Our group of 19 (including 10 kids, ages 4-10) had a great time here! The house had plenty of room for us all to spread out. The kids LOVED the playrooms and slides. The kitchen was well organized and had everything we needed to prepare lots of meals for our big group. We're looking forward to going back again next year!

The perfect getaway

This is the second year we have stayed at this house and loved it. The tunnels and foam block room and lego room provide endless entertainments for children and adults alike. A great kitchen and all items are labeled, easy to find. Checkin and checkout process is easy and Dave is a great host.

Fun and spacious house with tons to do

We loved this property. The house is huge and has tons of space for kids to play. Everything is well-stocked, from the kitchen to the games/puzzle closets. We also loved having the outdoor spaces, including the firepit, ravine trail, and hot tub. Dave was an extremely responsive and thoughtful host. We would happily stay here again!

Lovely

Fantastic for kids and family. There are kid-sized hallways and tunnels inside the house connecting various playrooms! Kids were in heaven. A little confusion about the unlock code for the door, but the hosts visited in person to welcome us.

Absolute dream

We had a blast! So many activities and absolutely gorgeous grounds. Kitchen is well stocked (except for olive oil - bring that!) and there are books, games, blankets and all the space you need when you’re not busy with tunnels and special rooms. We had some tiny kids with us and they definitely needed monitoring on the bigger slide and passageways. Four year olds were pretty ok on their own. We can’t wait to go back!

Better than advertised!

Dave’s property is amazing. We had six adults and five kids between five and eight years staying at the home. The kids were off very happily playing somewhere inside or outside the house for 95% of the day!! The house is beautifully done, all the amenities you could want to find are included and the rest of the property is fantastic. The contact with Dave and his wife was easy and lovely. We can’t recommend this place enough - our kids have decided they want to come back to the ‘slide house’ every year as do us adults!

Haney Family Reunion

We have grandchildren ranging in age from 3-14. And a couple on the autism spectrum who don’t enjoy crowds. This place was perfect. Plenty of room for those of us that needed space and so many activities to keep the little ones occupied. The view, peace and quiet made it easy to unplug from work demands and instead of coming home from a Disney trip over stimulated and grouchy, we are rested and so thankful for our family! Amazing Property

Beautiful home and property. My very large family stayed at this property for a 3 day getaway. We make an annual trip every year. It’s hard to find a property for our 20+ person group. This property has it all, tons for kids to do. We played baseball in the lower field, many rounds of volleyball on the beautiful volleyball area, fire pit area was lovely. We spent three nights and had no reason to even leave. All of my family has decided that this is a definite repeat property. David’s wife came over to ask if we had seen the Aurora Borealis the night before, beautiful area for such a cool experience. I never saw David personally, but as people were wandering around the property they ran into him. Always friendly and making sure that everything with the house was great. Cannot say enough good things about this place and we are excited to rent this again. Thank you

Plenty of space and a lot to do

The property was just as advertised. The family flew in for a wedding with all intentions of going into Seattle to sight see, but with the things to do at the property that we did not want to leave. Although our kids were not able to make it, they would have fun in the play rooms. This was a great stay with great options at the property. We would recommend this property to anyone and we are planning another trip back next year.
