"This hotel presents itself as upscale. That may have been true at one time, but unfortunately, it no longer reflects today’s reality. The hallway leading to my room was in very ordinary condition. It is clearly overdue for renovations. The furniture was badly damaged, and the bathroom was acceptable, but nothing more. What I find especially unacceptable in 2026 is having a weak Internet signal. On top of that, the available TV channels were mostly American. Aren’t we in Canada? Following my complaint, I was offered a $25 credit, which I did not use. My goal was not to receive compensation, but rather to let people know that this hotel, despite having good staff, is not living up to the image it projects. The staff was courteous, but the property clearly needs serious attention and major renovations."

"We had a great 2 night stay in late March. The place is close to the Acadia campus to visit our daughter and close to the downtown core for easy strolls. We enjoyed the large hot tub and never lacked for hot water. We had some cold mornings and the small electric fireplace quickly took out the chill. Highly recommend!"
