"I love coming to this hotel when I visit Gravenhurst. I've stayed here a few times now over the last 20 years. I love the Muskoka chairs on the balcony. Beautiful room and comfy bed. The staff is friendly and very helpful."

Best Western Plus Mariposa Inn & Conference Centre

"Hotel didnt let us know hot tub out of order until we fully checked in (using our credit we saved for months) after long drive decided to stop halfway (regretting) First got into pool 2 towels only and was fairly cold for indoors and hot tub out of service. Went to go have shower in our room after the conditioner empty body wash empty and dirty red rust mould in corner (gross) We then went out to car to get items later at night and the garbage all exposed we then had to hid from skunk in parking lot 🙃 Only great thing was food options for restraunts close by ... The next .morning set alarm 930 to sleep in after a very long weekend and to go get last bit of breakfast...well to find out it hotels and online website says weekdays til 10am no its over 930... (so our free buffet breakfast missed due to lack of information) We stay many places thought best western and name is decent ... learning its a name and not worth it .. we will go stay else where before here again."

"The general area and the building were unkempt and dirty. It was a no smoking building and both cigarette and marjuana smoke were very evident. There were no amenities in the bathroom at all - no soap, shampoo and tub was chipped in many areas. Both the kitchen and bathroom floors, my shoes stuck to. The screen door had no lock. The furniture, what there was, was generally shabby. I would not recommend this inn to anyone. I asked for an upgrade, which was refused."

"Nice view from room. Need to update chairs in room. Add more comfortable chairs and decorate, paint and just make it look more inviting. Paint was new but it needed to be scraped and repainted as it was lifting off. I know this sounds petty but it is such a nice place and just up grading would make a huge difference. Water bottles, things to do in area, just some interesting touches and this would be a five star."

Quality Inn & Conference Centre

"The stay was ok. I usually don’t mind Quality Inn’s and have stayed in other ones in different cities. But this location was not kept very clean, just can tell they’re not cleaning properly or getting everything wiped down in the rooms. The change rooms in the swimming pool were also filthy my husband noticed. Another issue was our card did not work to get back in our room after getting dinner and we had to keep walking back 3 times to the main desk until the staff finally came to look at it himself. We had to switch rooms which was inconvenient as we had our kids with us and unpacked everything already. The staff initially said we would need to grab all our stuff with our dinner and kids come to the front desk and get our new room key. Thank goodness my husband said no that’s not feasible for us and I asked can you call when our other room is ready but they couldn’t since their phones were down? He did then offer to come back and give us the key cards when they were ready. Just something I’ve never experienced at a hotel before. If my card wasn’t working they just give us a new one so I’m not sure why they couldn’t do that. Other than that the stay was enjoyable for my kids and it was in a central location close to many amenities!"

"Had a wonderful stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our visit. We really enjoyed the amenities and the peaceful atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back again!!!!"
