He told us, he send somebody to clean but this happened at 6.00 afternoon. We found some place to stay the night and next day we got there, there was no key ! St. George Beach Hotel & Spa Resort

10/10 Excellent

"This was our fourth visit & wont be the last. It’s a lovely hotel, the staff are so friendly & hardworking. The food is great in all the restaurants . There are plenty of bars & places to eat. The allocated subbed system is brilliant. The only downside is it’s quite a way out of Paphos but that’s not an issue to most people we met. Most of the guests are returning guests which speaks volumes. I recently read a complaint about the security guard, saying he was rude etc. We found him very pleasant. You find people passing the hotel & just using the subbed which obviously he is there to prevent. If you wish to look round the hotel you can just ask reception & they are happy for you to. We will definitely be back"

"My partner and I recently returned from a wonderful stay at the Helios Bay Apartments, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. If you are looking for a peaceful, unpretentious Mediterranean escape that gives you the freedom of self-catering alongside great resort amenities, this is it. We stayed in a sea-view studio, and waking up to the sound of the waves and watching the incredible Cypriot sunsets from our private balcony was unforgettable. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and traditionally styled, equipped with a handy kitchenette that was perfect for prepping quick lunches and keeping our drinks cold. The location in Chloraka is ideal—it is tucked away from the noisy crowds, but because the 615 bus stops literally right outside the front doors, we could get to Paphos Harbour or the beautiful sands of Coral Bay in less than 10 minutes. A huge thank you to the wonderful, family-run team who made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. We will definitely be back next year!"

"Lovely hotel. Very clean and tidy. Excellent hard working staff. Always willing to help you with anything you need. Bring you drinks while you are lounging on the ample amount of sunbeds round by two, big, clean swimming pools. Even have an indoor one too. Exceptionally clean room with fresh towels and bedding everyday. Breakfast has lots to choose from. Just remember you are in Cyprus not the UK or your home country so it’s not the same as the food back home. There is something for everyone for sure from freshly cooked omelettes (my fav) to honey, cereals, yogurt, fresh bread, fresh fruit, waffles, cake, cheese, nuts, juices, pancakes, croissants, bacon, eggs etc. Lovely location right next to the beach. Entertainment everyday from archery to boule on the beach and music and dancing shows. Great for families and adults alike. One pool is adults only so was nice, quiet and relaxing. Life guard always on duty. Hotel approx 30 min stroll to the harbour. Purpose built walk way all the way and you can stop and have a drink at the many bars along the route or go to any of the beaches along the way. Most have a toilet not too far away. You can get a bus from the airport for only €2 per person if you know where your nearest stop is if you don’t mind a short walk. A taxi was €45. Very happy will definitely visit again! Highly recommend all round. Very happy husband and wife."

"All good and gave full marks as the minor issues we found did not distract significantly Spacious and well equipped apartments and great value for money.. 4 pools were well maintained and clean. Reception responsive to small issues and sorted same. Local area is quiet but has plenty of supermarkets and restaurants within a short walk and the main harbour areas a 20 min walk. We enjoyed our stay"

"We really enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately one incident left a bad feeling. My friend wanted half board BC of the kosher food. I did not. We arranged it on our 2nd day at the hotel. Dinner was €35 Tue-Thu and €50 Fri-Sat. On Fri at 5 PM I went to reception to cancel my friend’s dinner. She said that for Fri-Sat anyone wanting dinner had to book a table. I confirmed twice and asked about Sat. She confirmed my friend would need to book. On Sat I booked a table for one via WhatsApp and got a confirmation. At checkout we saw a €50 charge for Fri. I reminded her that I had spoken to her the day before and said my friend would not have dinner on Fri. She became confused and said she would call the manager. When he arrived I asked them to check the Fri reservations and see we were not registered for dinner. They said the records were in the closed restaurant and could not be checked. My WhatsApp also showed I booked only one table for Sat. The manager accused me of being disrespectful and using my hands. I apologized and explained this is simply how I talk. I continued calmly. Eventually he told reception to remove the €50 as if he was doing us a favor. Before leaving I apologized again and offered my hand. He shook it without looking at me. After an otherwise wonderful stay this spoiled the end of our experience. We left feeling as though we had been treated like people trying to get something for free because we had simply followed the hotel’s instructions."
