"We loved the cottage, which was completely updated, immaculate, comfortable king size bed, spa bathroom, large wine frig with water and wine available in it, good sized smart tv, desk and chair, internet, comfortable chairs, nice dresser and wonderful Host Eli. The owners are on site and very friendly and helpful. Large patio with chairs overlooking the sunset. Located about 10 minutes from downtown Paso Robles. Great place and would recommend to all. "We had a great stay. Loved the property would definitely stay there again. It is a bit far out from town. But for us that worked just fine."

"Was a unique setting on a ranch but so small and having to use a ladder to go up and then hit my head cuz ceiling was so low upstairs. Wasn’t as clean as I would like but not horrible. Nice family in the home near the road. $100 cleaning fee is way too high. Once is ok. "

"Wonderful property with something for every age to do. We especially enjoyed the large patio allowing our whole family of 19 to have dinner together every night."

"The home was clean, meticulously curated, with thoughtful intentionality in every detail (telescoping skewers for s’mores, towel racks for the pool). The kitchen is well-stocked with both indoor and outdoor dishes. The communal spaces are abundant and comfortable. This was the perfect retreat for our multi-generational family with small children. Our kids (5 & 7) were in awe of the treehouse, swing, and pool - and enjoyed seeing local wildlife (deer, rabbits, ground squirrels) on the grounds....

"The Shandon House is incredible and a great place to stay. We truly enjoyed the home, pool, jacuzzi, and the kitchen is amazing! It is quiet and peaceful and all the bedrooms were great. The property manager was helpful upon arrival and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will be back!"

"We’ve rented a few properties and by far this was the easiest check in process. It made arrival time really flexible so we were able to take our time coming from LA. The place was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The views were absolutely fantastic! It’s an easy drive to Paso Robles and not too far from the water either. A big bonus for us was the very sweet kitty, Smokey. We would definitely stay again."

"We rented this property for a group of 16 celebrating multiple 40th birthdays. It was the perfect accommodation for our group. Great home base for wine tasting adventures and visiting Sensorio. The biggest surprise was just how amazing the views were from the pool area. The pictures just can’t capture how breathtaking those views are. "

"We traveled for a long weekend ( 4nocs 5 days)from the Northeast. Boston to be exact and we were not disappointed! Googled places for a romantic get away this popped up 10/10 would recommend! The music themed renovated shipping containers are AMAZING. From the inside it’s a luxury hotel with all the luxuries. Be prepared to unplug and relax and take in spectacular views of the winery. I travel with a SD and they welcomed him with dog bowls, fluffy towels and treats as well as poop bags ! So FYI they are dog friendly. The breakfasts are amazing and we sampled a few. Our favorites being the overnight oats accompanied by the French press coffee and orange juice our second favorite was the avocado toast. The happy hour each night with the charcuterie board is also a must as you get to sample the Cass wines! We shipped 5 back to Massachusetts after doing a tasting at the winery which I also recommended. As a guest you get to walk the property and it is just so peaceful and relaxing we loved the opportunity to do it! The staff was always friendly and greeted us. For other stuff to do we crammed as much as we could in the few days we had went to downtown Paso Robles ( restaurants, galleries etc) our next stop Morro Bay (Morro Rock, hiking), Sculpturra Winery, Tin City, Sensoria, Hearst Castle and Elephant seals. All in all can’t wait to go back and will definitely stay at Geneseo Inn again!!!"

"Wonderful spacious and comfortable site on a vineyard. Opening the large doors to the morning sun and vineyards was my favorite thing in the morning. We enjoyed walking the vineyard amongst bunnies, squirrels, and a multitude of birds! Tell Lizzie we said “goodbye” - she didn’t show up at the door this morning."

The house was well-appointed, very clean, and had all the amenities needed to make it an incredible stay. The hosts were easily reached when we had a question and were kind and helpful.
