"Decent hotel for our visit to Joshua Tree NP. It’s a bare bones hotel, but it was clean for the most part. We did note some stains on the carpet and the ceiling looks like it was recently and hastily patched up due to some water damage. But it was not leaking during our stay, so that’s a plus.
Staff is friendly. Parking is plentiful and free. Wifi is free although we did not use it. "
Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Indio Coachella Valley
2/10 Terrible
"Room reserved was a suite and we were given a double queen room. It was a late check in so we were stuck and overcharged. Food was watered down (dehydrated eggs - super watery and odd taste, oatmeal super watery). Avoid at all costs. Overcharged and not given what was reserved. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. "
Marvelous rock formations, desert wildlife and examples of the biodiversity of the Mojave Desert are visible along the short trail that leads to this landmark.
