Great hotel
I had a great stay at the hotel, with excellent service, and a great room. Especially grateful to the staff for being responsive specifically Leo-duty manager who helped a lot and made me feel comfortable

Very poor hotel
Were given a room 1019 above the air conditioning units for the hotel. Very noisy and asked to change rooms. Moved to 2018. Aircon did not work. Asked for a repair to be done. We were given a fan and told that's it!! Very poor management. Generally grubby hotel other than the lobby and restaurant floor. Not near a five star rating.

The hotel is not up to real 5 star hotel . Could be better . Towels are too old and smelly. Hotel staff can’t speak English and very difficult to understand guest needs. Concierge service is poor and below standard.

Location off from the busy section of the city, but still accessible by taxi to the city centre.around 10mins taxi ride and half an hour from airport Though the quality of the hotel am not sure I could rate it five star, the staff were friendly, English limited understanding. But messed up our rooms on the first day of check in, and we weren’t able to get one of the rooms until after 5pm. Which slight set back. The rooms were a little tired and old, couldn’t even use the mini fridge as it was locked. Had to ring the concierge 3 times to get someone to come unlock it. The view is partial of the river, I would say regardless of rooms you choose, as there flats in front that blocking the view. The pool for you to use you need a swimming cap or you can’t enter. The steam room and jacuzzi was out of action on both ladies/men’s, imagine this has been the same case for a while. Would I choose stay there again, probably not due to the oldness of the hotel and some of the clientele It attract were bit unusual and very obnoxious. As oneness one started shouting at the front desk and customer, for supposedly waiting too long and holding up the queue

We stay 3 nights at Kempinski ChongQing. Staff at Reception counters very courteous but will be nice if concierge would do more to assist in getting taxi at lobby. Will be very nice if hotel can provide shuttles to nearby metro station. Room is nice and spacious but somehow have got a few mosquitoes in the room that we stay and stung us in toilet.

Nice stay!
The room was spacious and clean, but the air conditioner was not working, so the room was incedibly hot throughout the night. The staff were friendly and helpful!

A wonderful hotel! Beautiful, spacious, well maintained with incredible facilities. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful they were amazing! They have an Olympic length lap pool, a very well equipped workout room, a separate room for yoga, a full spa, and the biggest breakfast buffet I have ever seen in any hotel. Not enough nice things to say.

Great location
Reception was very helpful with local restaurant recommendations. Lots of good eateries around. Close to light rail and ¥15 taxi to town center. The river front is a great place for evening sightseeing.

Our stay at Kempinski Hotel Chingqing was made better by the excellent staff, especially from Manager Rock Zuo and front desk service from SueTan. We stayed in two suites on the Executive Floor and it was very quiet and comfortable. Carol Zhang at the Executive Lounge was very courteous and professional by waiting and serving us. The service was exceptional. Our room included breakfast. The breakfast menu was a little limited. Nonetheless, this hotel offered great value. We travel a lot. The price for the suites was a great value.

Nicely decorated room but all downhill from there. The amenities and services were completely substandard. The bed was sunk in and soft like a 20-year-old mattress, the room was hot as an oven with no cooling system working, and had a nice soaking bathtub but the water only got very warm at best, certainly not hot. The service was very poor, particularly for what was supposed to be a luck Sharee hotel. We were told we had free parking, but every time we retrieved our car from the depths of the basement garage and went to the exit , The guard insisted on charging us until we backed up drove back up to the lobby and had to get them to call the guard to let us out, a process taking an additional 5 to 10 minutes. We had to do this three separate times! They had a nice brochure about different pillows you can get for your room, but it took talking to three different people on the phone to find out if they actually have them and then another hour wait for them to be delivered to the room. To top it off, the parking is all self parking down in the bowels of a deep garage that is poorly lit with dark shadows and somewhat scary to walk through, and when my wife slipped on their tile floor and skinned her leg, not that big of a deal overall, the manager was not even solicitous or polite or apologetic. Overall our stay at the Kim Pinsky was frustrating and disappointing, not sleeping on a terrible mattress in an extremely hot room with no cooling. Buyer beware.

Generic hotel somewhere between 4-5 star ranking, with generic room, restaurant and food. I stayed on the executive floor which unfortunately was nothing special. Found body hair in my bathtub twice (without even using the bathtub) which made me suspect the cleaner's tool was not very clean... There was also constant foul smell coming from the toilet. Totally put off by all the unhygienic aspects I experienced during my stay. I have stayed at many hotels in China and the standard are roughly the same. There are still lots to learn and training needed to meet true international standard of 5-star hospitality.

Nice hotel
Kempinski Chongqing is a nice hotel a bit from the classic city center. Very few people on the staff speak English, which makes it very hard to get the usual service that you expect from a Kempinski hotel. As an example, there is no room service menu in English so it is impossible to order any service to the room. The hotel is 10 years old and that might be seen in the bathrooms. And the cleaning is not the best, so don't expect a normal Kempinski level. However, the staff is nice, even though it is difficult to communicate with them

价格的确便宜 五星级酒店我定的两晚不超1000。 但是酒店硬件设施➕服务都不值这个价格。 首先地段:不在闹市区无论去哪里都要要打车20分钟距离 其次硬件:大堂很老旧,香薰味道太重,廉价香水味。一张沙发都没有。只有几个板凳。 房间:房间有两点我是满意的。第一房间很大。第二床很舒服。 不满意:还是老旧引起的。所有LED的灯都年久违修。开关无法正常关闭。几个氛围灯无法关闭。最让我不舒服的是毛巾。看上去可能三年没有换?毛巾都被洗的边都没有了。很薄。而且发黄。所有大大小小毛巾都是这样的。到处都是黄色小广告的名片。我都不敢想象,真的是重庆的五星级酒店?安保措施那么松?能纵容这样的事情发生?酒店门口满地黄色小广告。 酒店大门外全是摆摊的小贩。 真的是大失所望。 这个和一百一晚的小旅馆有本质差别么? 差评。

충칭에서 훌륭한 수준임
전반적으로 적극적으로 친절한 직원들....굿... 충칭지역 치고는 영어가 잘 통하는 편임 그렇지만 곳곳에 조금 씩 잔고장 나있는 것들이 수리 안되고 방치된 것들이 있음.. 룸서비스 음식 수준 괜찮음.. 조찬 괜찮음.. 그래도 룸에 비치된 와인잔은 가져가서 설겆이 해서 가져와야 되지 않나??-전반적인 청결에 대한 의문을 가지게 됨..

Grate staying~
It was very nice to stay in Kempinski Hotel in CQ. One thing little bit uncomfatable is the location and neighborhood of the hotel. I should call taxi to get some places for dinining or meeting.

會住這裡的主要是去隔壁參加展覽 如果去觀光區會有一段距離,但是門口的DiDi很多. 早餐很 local,量多,可以在酒店直接加比較便宜,RMB 60/人.(原本是160~) 床很軟。 雖然離輕軌500米,但還是考慮一下上下坡的問題
