This hotel is across the street from the huge, beautiful Hagley Park and Botanic Gardens and in a nice neighborhood with many restaurants within a couple of blocks walk. It is a top tier yet affordable hotel. The breakfast was the nicest hotel breakfast I have ever had. I have a dairy restriction and this breakfast is very accommodating. The gardens are beautiful in the spring! The rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet. Parking was easy and free. We stayed here at both the beginning and end of our road trip around the south island. I would exclusively stay here any time I return to Christchurch!

This hotel is in a great location. There are restaurants within a few blocks, easy to walk to. The breakfast at the hotel was extraordinary. There were so many options. I have a dietary restriction and I found plenty of options, with everything clearly labeled. The courtyard garden was beautiful! Service was friendly and helpful. And our room was spacious, quiet, and comfortable. It’s a very well-managed hotel.
