It is located conveniently close to South City Shopping Centre, New World Supermarket, Hagley Park, Christchurch Hospital, Parakiore Recreation and Sports Centre and a wide range of other amenities. This beautiful studio unit is like a hotel room but with many more added benefits.
Please note there is 1 flight of stairs to climb to reach the property, the unit area itself is on one level. The kitchen, dining, living and bedroom areas are an open-plan studio. There is a Washer/Dryer combination conveniently located within the kitchen as well as a fold-out dining table.
A Murphy bed (transforms into a sofa if required) built in storage, 50" TV, dining table and kitchen are in this open plan area. Also on this floor is a full-size bathroom and a balcony to enjoy the afternoon sun. A full bathroom including tiled shower, Bidet toilet with heated seat, Heated towel rail and vanity.
Canterbury Linen Service who services local 5 Star Hotels provide our sheets and towels. You can sink into the luxury of a professionally laundered bed knowing it's a 5-star hotel clean.
Guests will have exclusive access to the entire property during your stay. It will be fully cleaned and the bed prepared for your arrival. You will find everything you need to make your stay comfortable. There is high-speed internet throughout the property.
You have your own private balcony area and there is a lovely grassed communal area with picnic tables to enjoy time with friends.

The location of 8 Wilmer Street is unbeatable. You will have easy access to all the local amenities, from restaurants and cafes, to supermarkets, parks, and shops.
The Moov it app is great to download ahead of time should you wish to use the bus system while visiting Christchurch.
On-street parking is free outside the development but can often be full during school hours however does empty out in the evenings.
The surrounding streets also have free parking available, so if you have a car, you should be able to find a parking spot close by.

City Noise - Please note this is a city living townhouse. It's near the road and some intersections and has usual city noises. Pedestrians walking past, cars driving and neighboring properties. The Townhouse is much quieter with the windows closed. If you are a light sleeper, ear plugs are recommended.
Please note we can facilitate early check-ins/late check outs. there is an extra cost of $10 per hour with maximum of 2 hours. extra cost is to cover express cleaning. Subject to availability. We have strict rules in place to ensure a peaceful stay for all guests and neighbours. Please refrain from making loud noise outside between the hours of 10pm and 7am. If you are unable to comply with this rule, we kindly ask that you do not book with us.
Additionally parties or gatherings are not allowed, any unauthorised gatherings will result in immediate cancellation with no refund.
Check out time is 10am and late checkouts must be requested 24hours in advance.
Smoking is prohibited inside the property, including the enclosed balcony and any damages or extra cleaning caused by smoking or pets will result in a $200 fee.
We expect the house to be left in a reasonable condition and any additional cleaning required will be charged at $60 per hour. Any damages, spills or stains must be reported and may result in a charge for replacement or cleaning.
