Whether you're a local resident or a visiting traveler, this townhouse is the perfect home away from home
3 storey townhouse. Ground floor has Living, Dining, Kitchen and access to the outdoor courtyard. Plus a sofa bed for an extra guest (extra guest fee applies) 1st floor contains a full tiled bathroom with shower and bidet, 1st bedroom with Queen bed and wardrobe. 2nd floor contains Master room with king bed and ensuite bathroom complete with tiled shower and bidet. Guests will have exclusive access to the entire property during your stay. It will be fully cleaned and prepared for your arrival and you will find everything you need to make your stay comfortable. There is high-speed internet throughout the property.
The property offers on-street parking for guests. No dedicated parking provided. There is paid parking available on the street in front of the property. The street behind has free parking available. We recommend guests to check the parking signs and rules before parking your car. Carebnb can assist with any parking questions. This home is located within easy walking distance to many fantastic amenities the Central City has to offer.

Named after its geographical positioning in Christchurch’s CBD (Saint Asaph, Lichfield, and Tuam), SALT District is dubbed the city’s most alternative neighbourhood Expect world-class fashion and top-notch eats, drinks and pampering hot spots. Explore new laneways and wander old streets. Check out eye-popping street art and take in the inner-city vibe with its original facades and gleaming new structures. Today’s Christchurch looks way different from that of pre-2011. Although we lost some heritage in the big shakes we gained some contemporary cool and heaps of exciting new spaces. From these changes, and thanks to some dedicated locals, the SALT District emerged.
The Christchurch bus exchange is a 5 min walk away and that will give you access to all of Christchurch via the various bus routes. The Moov it app is great to download ahead of time should you wish to use the bus system while visiting Christchurch. On street parking is free outside the development but can often be full during the day however does empty out in the evenings. The surrounding streets also have free parking available, so if you have a car, you should be able to find a parking spot close by. This information is detailed in the Welcome pack inside the property. Ubers or Taxi’s are never far away and are available 24/7 for a convenient pick up.
City Noise - Please note this is an inner city Townhouse. Its near the road and some intersections and has usual city noises. Pedestrians walking past, cars driving and the occasional Siren. The Townhouse is much quieter with the windows closed. If you are a light sleeper, ear plugs are recommended, or perhaps choose a property not so close to the city. We have strict rules in place to ensure a peaceful stay for all guests and neighbours. Please refrain from making loud noise outside between the hours of 10pm and 7am. If you are unable to comply with this rule, we kindly ask that you do not book with us. Additionally parties or gatherings are not allowed, any unauthorised gatherings will result in immediate cancellation with no refund. Check out time is 10am and late checkouts must be requested 24hours in advance. Smoking is prohibited inside the property and any damages or extra cleaning caused by smoking or pets will result in a $200 fee. We expect the house to be left in a reasonable condition and any additional cleaning required will be charged at $60 per hour. Any damages, spills or stains must be reported and may result in a charge for replacement or cleaning.

We enjoyed our stay in this quiet location with easy walking access to downtown sites and simple check in/check out process. Parking is on the street but it was fairly straightforward for us to find.

Place was clean and provided all the necessary amenities. The apartment was a convenient walk to Christchurch city center and surrounding shops/restaurants.

We rented this apartment for a couple of nights with friends. The kitchen was well appointed and stocked with essentials like coffee :-). The electronic key lock is easy to use. Apartment is quite vertical with the en-suite primary room on the top floor and another bath and smaller bedroom on the middle level. We used the washer/dryer to tidy up a bit. The neighborhood is easy to navigate with easy walk ability to the tram, restaurants, coffee and bars. Highly recommend.
Great Location for walking around and exploring. Kitchen was well stocked and some cute little touches. The only downside for us it was a bit tricky to navigate the stairs with a 3 year old and 5 month old.
This was a very nice place to stay. It was quiet, decorated very nicely and was close to the a coffee shop that had the best flat whites! It was a 10 min walk to all of the shops, restaurants and pubs thats situated along the river walk. The bed was very comfortable and came in handy after a long day of touring!
Really lovely property, super easy check in process and reasonably priced. Would just recommend if you use the sofa bed it’s for a short person or child.
