"The staff, during our stay, were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was good with scrambled eggs, sausages, cereal, boiled eggs bread, yogurt etc. Everything was always being topped up. The tub enclosure in our rooms bathroom was kind of old and worn but good enough for a quick shower. Hotel was close to a lot of amenities."

"The staff at this resort is amazing, they go over and above to help make your stay as good as possible. We ate dinner at the restaurant on Sunday and loved the food. The beach is small but very nice, and we loved swimming in the lake. The wood burning sauna was a really nice treat too. We brought our dog with us, and noticed that the floor was a bit dusty when we put his food and water dishes down, and on our last night the smoke alarm went off at 4:30am in our room - not because of smoke, but some kind of malfunction, but other than that we loved it and would absolutely go back again."

"Hosts were polite and kind. Breakfast was very good! Great location! Short walk to town and to the water was very nice. The room wasn't as clean as we would like. The one chair (antique) although period to the house, was not sturdy and therefore not usable. Did not like the shared bathroom. Also, bathtub could have been cleaner and better appointed."

"Property pictures were misleading showing several pictures of docks, but only one was ours to use. As it turned out, we had to use the public boat launch (charge to park) one mile away, using the Trent Severn Lock in order to use my boat. The bunk beds were so squeaky loud that a family member decided to sleep on the couch instead. There were no drawers or closets for our clothes and only one stand for suitcases.We were disappointed that we were unable to swim from the shore or dock, especially as we had grandsons there to play in the water. There were too many weeds and it was too marshy. Location of the cottage was good and it was well kept. The neighbors were friendly and helpful. The Cottage had great Internet and Wifi, and the kitchen was well stocked, The A/C worked very well."
