It was a great place for a family gathering. We took advantage of kayaks, cornhole, and pool table. Everything was clean, grass mowed, and fire pit ready to go. "This was one of the best places we've ever stayed! The host Peter was very accommodating and was so helpful getting us in last minute after we had to leave a terrible property that we had also booked through VRBO. The house is on about 5 acres of quiet, private land with a family of deer that regularly visited us in the mornings to graze. The house is great! "Some of the silverware had to be re-washed. One of the coffeemaksers had what looked like mildew at the bottom, so we used neither coffeemaker. On the pier were a couple of life jackets and the storage bins doors were wide open. Otherwise, things were excellent and we love to come back."

"We had the whole family here. My wife and I, our three daughters and grandkids for a total of 9 of us. This place was perfect for us. Plenty of rooms for all, and the large kitchen gave us lots of room for all to gather at meal time without tripping over each other. We loved the large yard where the kids could run off their energy and the large deck was a real joy. When we had a question we got answers almost immediately. That was a real bonus. Thanks for making this great home available for us...

"This was a last minute booking. One snafu with Vacasa with them not being able to verify my ID via DL but with a quick phone call that was corrected. The home itself is nice and has plenty of space and amenities. The decibel reader is a little off-putting but I understand with VA laws being the way they are. Overall, it was a nice stay."

"The house was perfect for my family. Everything was comfortable, clean, and super cozy! The convenience of being able to walk to the hospital to visit a family member was wonderful and a huge stress relief. The walk/run/bike path that runs behind the property and along the river was amazing. Absolutely recommend this home to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area!"

Staff were so fun!
"Our experience at the Liberty Trust Hotel was great. We loved the historic nature of the hotel with its beautiful exterior and lobby / restaurant area. The rooms are spacious and modern with large windows. The location is in the heart of downtown Roanoke. Of particular note were the staff. We were pleasantly greeted as we entered the hotel by the front deck attendant. We had drinks and dinner at the bar and had a wonderful time talking with Stephanie, Mark and Jeff. They were so engaging and fun - it was the highlight of our experience at the hotel. The drinks and food were wonderful as well. Parking was easy too. I would highly recommend this gem of a hotel. "
