It’s about a 15 minute walk from the bullet train station so be mindful of that if you’re hauling around luggage, the sidewalks are not luggage friendly. Holiday Inn Gwangju by IHG
I really appreciated the staff and their response to any questions or concern I had. They were prompt, polite and very helpful. The hotel itself had amenities that were great for our family.

Madrid Hotel Gwangju
The location is excellent, 5 minutes walking distance from Gwangju Songjeong KTX station. The hotel room is clean and the breakfast is very nice. There’s free parking in the hotel.
