Exceptional view from upstairs, of the highest peaks of the Pyrenees, those of the Haute-Garonne department! Located in the small hamlet of Montmajou and close to the ski resorts (Superbagnères, Peyragudes, le Mourtis). Many activities nearby, ideal for nature enthusiasts. Fishing (in the Pique and the Garonne), rafting, canyoning, paragliding, mountain biking. Cycling in the legendary Pyrenean passes (Mente, Portillon, Peyresourdes, Balès). Lake Géry (swimming, pedal boats, mini-golf, etc.), equestrian center. Val d'Aran Animal Park (Spain). Adventure course (Cierp-gaud). Visit to Bagnères de Luchon with its thermal baths which have the only natural hammam in Europe. All shops near Luchon (15min) with a nice producers' market on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. Saint Bertrand de Comminges, medieval town, voted one of the most beautiful villages in France. The cottage is located on the main street of the very quiet hamlet, 1km from Cier-de-Luchon. Parking on the square or in the reserved parking lot next to the house. Easy access via a few steps. - On the ground floor: 2 bedrooms: one with 1 140cm bed, the other with 2 90cm beds where the thickness of the walls will keep things cool in summer. 1 bathroom with walk-in shower. 1 separate toilet with sink. - Upstairs: large bright living room with lounge area, fireplace, wifi access. Fully equipped American kitchen open to the living room, dining room opening onto a large south-facing balcony through large bay windows. Air conditioning upstairs (reversible). Pleasant stone and slate mountain lodge at the gates of Bagnères-de-Luchon in the central Pyrenees with breathtaking views of the Pyrenees peaks.
