Super 8 by Wyndham Montrose
8/10 Good
"This property was much cleaner and friendly than another Super 8 by Wyndham property we stayed at last month. Pleasant surprise. Only thing that lacked attention was their outdoor area in back. Set up decent but no lights working due to bulbs out, so if you did want to grill it would be rather dark. Not a deal breaker but if you want to sit outside on a nice evening - disappointing."
1st Interstate Inn Montrose
10/10 Excellent
"The pool didn't have water, not sure why. The air in our room didn't work, but they quickly put us up in a different room where it worked great."
Montrose Valley Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"The rooms were clean, comfy and nice. Staff was friendly and helpful and the pool was fun. The only thing I didn’t like was that all trash cans outside were full"
The Rathbone Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Staff was wonderful, coffee was delicious in the morning. Spacious room. Walkable to shops and restaurants."
Minecart Motor Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"The place was pleasantly clean and recently renovated. I can appreciate the little details like plastic conduit to route the power cable for the mounted TV from the outlet to the TV. Definitely a great value. Check in and out was easy, the AC was strong, and bed comfy. Plenty of hot water quickly and the bathroom was modern and clean. Only one feedback for management: consider restriping the lines in your parking lot because I was unable to park in front of my room due to both adjacent vehicles parking over their faded lines. Besides that, great job! It’s clearly a well run operation."
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Montrose - Black Canyon Area by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Clean room, amazingly kind front desk and in-house staff, good breakfast (very good), quiet-ish rooms. Was perfect for our business trip"
Arrowhead Mountain Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"We loved our stay here. Despite the long email detailing the challenges people face reaching the property and struggling with oxygen; we found the property perfectly accessible with a normal car (not a 4x4) and there were no issues with altitude sickness or air pressure. The property is extremely charming and well-maintained. The room was pretty luxurious, even though it was reasonably priced! We loved the fireplace. The restaurant was excellent for both breakfast and dinner. We’d love to return."
Red Arrow Inn & Suites, a Travelodge by Wyndham
10/10 Excellent
"Liked the staff. "
Cabin with Jaw-dropping Views near Black Canyon
10/10 Excellent
"Sitting on the back porch and watching the sunrise every morning, while the deer and prairie dogs go about their business, was incredibly peaceful. There were some flies to be dealt with upon arrival, and the bed was... Not great, but aside from that, you are getting exactly as it seems. A very quiet, secluded, peaceful space with not just an incredible view, but an environment that is alive."
