"Great value in this sweet, recently renovated motel. The room was very clean and updated; bed very comfortable. Loved the well-thought provision of several wall hooks for towel drying. Large sink area outside of toilet/shower area, which I always prefer for functional use. Some of the furniture surfaces were a bit worn from careless guests, but not an issue. Most areas felt very new and fresh. Our room was surprisingly quiet, even being just off a busy road. The grab and go breakfast was scant, but much appreciated as an option to fill our bellies a bit. The coffee was good, something we truly appreciate on a long trip with weak coffee at most locations. We would not hesitate to stay here again. It was one of the best finds in our month-long trip--a great value! "
"Hotel was recently renovated which was the only plus. The room we got was missing furniture (arm chair) and staff was unable to locate another chair. Light on one side of bed could not work because there was not outlet for it to be plugged into. Not a single USB charging port anywhere in the room which given today's use of rechargeable electronics is unacceptable. Will not be staying there again and wouldn't recommend it."
"The lobby is closed after hours, which I wasn't aware of. I felt really bad making the staff member come over from their home to check us in after midnight. I typically would choose a hotel with a lobby staffed 24/7. The room was very large and the beds were comfortable. But everything was very dirty, including either blood or ketchup stains on the walls and curtains, a spot of dried liquid on the bedspread, and just general dust and dirt on window sills, and along the corners of the room. The deadbolt just spun in circles, and the chain lock was partially pulled out of the door. The carpet felt very dirty on bare feet, like maybe it was one large spill that had dried or they had tried to clean the carpets but didn't rinse out the soap well so the carpet just kinda made your feet feel sticky/dirty. I spent the whole 2 days suppressing my urge to go buy some cleaning supplies and clean the place myself. But the staff member I interacted with (who I pulled out of bed by checking in so late) was very nice. And the room is huge and would be good for a family traveling with multiple kids who needed space for like an air mattress."
"It was a 5 mile drive up dirt track. Easy to find using sat nav.
Check in easy. We stayed in the American room it was warm and cozy and comfortable bed.
Continental breakfast was basic campers grab and go.
No option for evening meal or beer which was disappointing. Only made aware of this at check in. Told we should have checked thier own website for details for out of season but made booking through Hotels.com"
