Normally I don’t take the time to do this but this needs to be documented. The Hotel was under massive construction (not stated on Expedia). When I was checking in, the front desk asked us if we could move to a hotel down the road. I was about to say yes but the Manager rushed in to rescind the offer. Then, we were asked if we would be willing to relocate to a hotel 12 miles north. We said no. We then were issued a room in the hotel. The room had brown sticky liquid on air conditioning unit and the sink did not drain. I went down to express displeasure and they moved us to another room. The room had a nice view and overall was an upgrade but the shower handle was not properly on the wall and left a hole in the wall. The next day we mentioned it and it was fixed. Room service came and took our towels and threw away all the soaps. I had to go to the lobby to get towels and soaps. Beds were not made. Cincinnati was a real gem. Unfortunately, our time was marred by our hotel experience.
