Terri Smith and Jeff Zemanek had a vision to create a small boutique hotel allowing guest to experience the best of Historic Newport.
The Newport Inn is located at 634 Monmouth St., close to restaurants, family activities, great views, nightlife, sporting events (20-minute walk for a ballgame), river fronts in Newport and downtown Cincinnati. You’ll love the ambiance, the people, the outdoors space, the lively neighborhood. Make sure to check out Newport on the Levee with live music, comedy clubs, and a world class aquarium. Seasonal Ghost Tours, as well as Gangster Tours will give you a historic perspective of this quaint town!

This particular suite is great for two couples to explore the city and nightlife, or for families taking in games, the aquarium, tours, and more!
This 900 sqft, second floor suite is a 2 BR (King Serta i-Comfort beds) with a non-working fireplace in each, and a large walk-in shower. Located just a few blocks from the Ohio River, we are located right in the heart of the historic district in a beautiful turn of the century building. If you would also like to experience the big city, a walk or carriage ride to downtown Cincinnati creates a whole new dimension. The end result is a luxurious stay, which combines the best of both worlds. Jeff's career led him to spending many nights in hotels and not always satisfied by what he found. When we decided to build an inn, there were criteria which had to be met: 1. Great beds! 2. Great shower! 3. Variety of pillows! 4. Peace and quiet! 5. Free Wi-Fi! 6. HD TVs with HD signal! 7. Outside area to relax! 8. A full kitchen to make it feel like home! Lastly, a friendly staff who is there to help with recommendations or whatever is needed to make it a special stay!!
Red Bikes is a block away to rent.
PRIVATE PARKING LOT INCLUDED for two cars, and is directly behind the inn!
Lastly, come and visit our Urban Chick Bar and Bottle Shop on the first floor!

Best VRBO I’ve stayed in so far

Owners gave us all the information we needed about the neighborhood, the place is beautiful and I love the skylight. All the natural light from the windows was a perfect way to start the day. Comfortable beds, VERY clean & an easy walk to Great American Ballpark. I will definitely be back.

Be sure to park in back and enter through that porch. Front door has you go up VERY steep steps. Hallways were muggy and not great but as soon as we walked into our actual unit it was fantastic. Clean and just very nice! Beds super comfortable and blankets very fresh! Great place and would stay again!

Perfect spot for a Reds game!

The hosts were awesome about communicating every detail of the check-in process, parking, etc. The property was nice and clean, stocked with plenty of towels and linens and even a few snacks. We were very pleased with our stay!

Excellent property

The Inn was very clean, well appointed, spacious and very comfortable. It is with in walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants. Not to mention the Levee at Newport and downtown Cincinnati. When I have an occasion to come back to the area, I will definitely stay here again.

Family stayed at the property when we attended a concert at Megacorp Pavilion. Within walking distance of the venue (10 minutes) and multiple restaurants. Property is very nice. Will definitely stay here again if the need arises

We were in town for a concert and this was the perfect place ( within a short walk) to the arena! Loved the charm of the historic downtown ! The large window overlooking the Main Street was one of my favorite views . Host had great communication the entire stay. Wish we had more time , will be back for sure !
