Private Top Floor in Historic Home

  • Enjoy your home away from home in this historic home. This location is minutes away from MainStrasse entertainment district's restaurants, bars and boutiques. I am blocks away from the Ohio river. Walks along the river give you beautiful views of Cincinnati and make it convenient to reach its many dining, sporting, museums and other cultural attractions. Also in the "neighborhood" , Newport on the Levee and the Aquarium.
    The space
    This cozy 3rd floor apartment has its own private entrance. It has a dishwasher and eat in kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, stove/oven, toaster and Keurig. Basic cookware,as well as dishes and flatware are provided. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate along with breakfast bars and oatmeal is available.
    Guest access
    Guests have their own private entrance via an electronic keypad lock. The 4 digit code will be provided prior to your arrival. You will have use of the entire apartment. You will access the gate from Greenup Street. No locals accepted as guest at this property all guest must have an ID on file including an address of at least 50 miles of zip code 41011

Clean and quaint

The property was very clean and cute, just as pictured. Nice location for exploring the Ark and Cincinnati area. Thanks for a nice home away from home for a long weekend!

Beautiful historic home

I had an excellent 5-night stay. The property is very easy to access and there is plenty of street parking available. The rental was very clean and comfortable. I’ll be back next time I’m in Covington.

Excellent property, location, and host!

The apartment was very cute and felt very relaxing. Just like home. The location was excellent for access to Riverbend and Newport on the Levee. We also went to Molly Malones for dinner and live music (it was also excellent!) I would highly recommend this location and host!

Amazing Top Floor Loft

My husband and I loved our stay here. The building is over a hundred years old and has been renovated to keep its charm and updated with modern conveniences. The owner was easy to communicate with and check in and out was very easy. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. And the neighborhood was very nice as well. We will definitely stay here again.

A cozy, comfortable retreat

The apartment is very comfortable with all the nooks and nuances of an older home. While the stairs might be a challenge for some, the third-floor roost offers quiet, as well as good views of the neighborhood. Downtown is just a few blocks away, and a grocery is within walking distance.

Terrific Spot!

Elizibeth's third floor hideaway is perfect. Delightful, nicely appointed, and spotlessly clean. We arrived in the dark, so it was a bit tricky to see the entrance but we found our way just fine. Guests should take account of the stairs--a bit of a challenge schlepping our bags up, but we were well aware because Elizabeth made it very clear in the listing. I strongly recommend this spot. It was perfect for our stay in Covington/Cincinnati! Thank you, Elizabeth.

Pleasant stay in Covington!

We had a great time at Elizabeth’s apartment. Easy check in and very secure apartment (locked gate and two key pads to separate entrance). No issues finding street parking. Comfy bed, stocked kitchen and bathroom. We were in town for a concert in Cincinnati but we also explored Covington. We felt safe in the neighbourhood and had no issues getting Ubers. We also did a lot of walking. Lots of stairs to get to the third floor but no issues at all for us, just make sure you are aware of this. We were very thankful for A/C as it was very hot when we were there. We would recommend!

This property was absolutely perfect for our stay! The property is centrally located with no more than 3 to 5 mile radius from everything that we had planned for the weekend which was great! The property is very well maintained with everything that you need for a very comfortable stay! Ms. Elizabeth was very helpful in assisting us with accessing the property! Access to the property could be clearer in specifying that entry to the third floor apartment is via that gate on the side of the property after removing the key from the lockbox. Ms. Elizabeth responded to me in a timely manor, and even had her neighbor come over to assist us. We will most definitely stay at the property again when returning to the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area. 10/10 Definitely Recommend!

Everything was as it was stated on the property listing. The kitchen had everything you needed in order to cook and eat. The bed was comfortable, the indoor temp was good, great water heater with reslly good pressure, and the place was very clean and well stocked. The owner is very sweet and fantastic at communication. The backyard is very nice with the koi pond, the seating area, etc. I will definitely be going back in the future.

Fantastic stay, couldn't ask for more, Elizabeth, the host showed me around. She is very gracious and goes the extra mile every step of the way. The location is central to everything, easy to get around, even if just walking within Covington, the walk to Cincinnati isn't even all that bad. Very nice home with more than ample space, an old home that has been revitalized, very beautiful, highly recommended!
