"The pool is definitely the highlight for this property. Large pool with loungers and ability to access shade was great for relaxation. Showers and bathrooms beside the pool area were appreciated. "We stayed for just a single night at the Politeama a few days ago. Our room was excellent - spacious and modern. The rooftop restaurant offered fabulous views and the food was excellent. Every member of staff we encountered was courteous, friendly and genuinely helpful. Top marks go to the concierge Dorotea - we had a challenging travel situation when our ferry to Panarea was cancelled. She showed exemplary, genuine commitment to identifying the best possible solution for us, and made sure she stayed in touch with us in case we needed any further help along the way. Against the odds, we made it to Panarea the same day, which would not have been possible without Dorotea’s assistance. If Sicily holds a Hotel Concierge of the Year competition, she has to be Numero Uno!"
