"Great hotel , one of the best we've stayed in for a long time . Loved the vinyls in the room that you could swap at reception . Loved the Aesop toiletries . Loved the outside terrace where you could take your own drinks and food up to . They just had everything spot on . Well done guys ."

"The building looks a little old, but it is very clean and well maintained. The location is convenient, within easy reach of Tainan Station. The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful. They gave me great local recommendations and even helped me arrange an Uber for an evening outing, which I really appreciated. A lovely little bonus was the complimentary bread provided for guests at the front desk between 9 and 10 pm — a thoughtful touch! Overall, a convenient and welcoming place to stay, with genuinely helpful staff who made my visit more enjoyable"

"This is a good location right near the train station and although the area around might look a little messy to western eyes, it's actually a lovely hotel. It has a great gym and the rooftop pool is nice. The one issue we had was with the bedroom which has this massive TV blocking the window. It was a little irritating and also the TV sits on a lip in the floor that I tripped over about four times! And the problem is if you reach out to stop yourself from falling forward you either grab the TV or hit the window! So a bit of a design fail there. Another fail was the "wet room" bath and shower that leaked into the other room if you're not careful. (One irritating aside: some of the rooms had coffee makers – – Nespresso – – and some did not. For some reason I guess some of the room classes give you Nespresso) The breakfast buffet was very nice--by the time we got here we had been at two other hotels with breakfast buffets! And this one stood up well – – and I like the fact that you could select what time you wanted to go although even though we selected later in the morning it was still crazy busy because there was some kind of conference going on. I also want to give a nice shout out to the restaurant because they actually had local Taiwan craft beer which is incredibly rare to find in Taiwan."

"Checking in at hotels is getting later and later. Why.? The hotel were happy to store our bags for a few hours before we could get to our room. Very pleasant and helpful staff on reception. Nice clean room great bathroom. Clean bedding if you so desired by leaving card on your pillow. Comfy bed. The only down side is when you eventually turn lights off for the night the room is still lit like a airport runway. Air con is lit up a red light on the ceiling and various other illuminated equipment. Very strange. No breakfast supplied. All in all a nice enough stay."
