"Working class town with a fortress. Great restaurants nearby. Go left then right on a 3 minute walk for great Romanian food at a good price. Ps. They had a crazy awesome massage chair in the room. The room was massive, too!"

"Initial contact wasn’t good. I contacted the hotel before travelling. Told them would be there at around 03:00. I was told to use intercom. It didn’t work. Apparently I should have been given a code but still wouldn’t have my key. Luckily I had family in Deva. Next morning trying to check in I was shouted at by a very rude desk lady whilst trying to explain. I had no paperwork from Expedia. So had to manually fill out forms. "After a check-in from the welcoming front desk, we were pleasantly surprised to see that our room was spacious and pleasant. The bedroom was air conditioned, which was nice considering the hot weather during our stay. The bathroom was also very clean, with a nice shower and bathtub. One morning, we opted for the hotel breakfast, a delicious plate of eggs, cheeses and fresh vegetables. The only puzzlement I had was that our room had a stove and kitchen sink, but there were no utensils to use. Still, we were pleased with our stay at the Pensiunea President and we’d come back again!"
