"Updated, comfortable and spacious room. Hotel staff was helpful with luggage. Lobby is being renovated. There is a restaurant next door. Public transport to Piata Romana is about 1 block away. About 10 to 15 minutes away from each airport."

"We saw the great reviews on-line and decided to book this hotel on the extra night post our group tour. We agree with the great reviews from other guests. The hotel is located off the busy street and is centrally located. It’s a boutique hotel and very reasonably priced."

"The Novotel city centre Bucharest has a superb location. Right on Victoria Street/Boulevards, old city is only minutes away, easy location for guided and walking tours. The Main Street is full with coffee shop, dessert shops and restaurants all with different style and vibe for every taste, and on weekends transportation is not allowed so street and road are open for pedestrians. The reception staff were always helpful and welcoming especially Alexander. We got help with recommendations and directions. We only used the hotel lounge once as we wanted to try the local area. Ruth from the lounge is a real ray of sunshine with her hosting skills and bright smile. The room was spacious and clean, with air conditioning and beautiful city view. We had a minor issue with a smell from the bathroom sink, and the hotel tried to resolve, but couldn’t after several attempts. I hope they managed to sort it before the next guest. (Room 711). Each floor has a water cooler if you wish to fill up your bottles ahead of your day. All in all a great stay, and would highly recommend this hotel."

"Very very nice stay. Rooms were impeccable. Good restaurant (both for dinner and breakfast). One tiny complaint: understanding how to enter parking was confusing, the signs did not help hahaha. But once inside, the parking was good. "

"This is an absolutely fantastic hotel which I enjoyed from the start check-in to when I unfortunately had to leave at checkout. Staff, especially those on reception and in the gym area are fantastic and extremely friendly and very welcoming. The facilities are 10 out of 10 and I was actually really surprised just how good they are especially with the gym and the swimming area both inside and outside. The rooms are spacious and extremely well kept and very nicely decorated. This is definitely a place I will come back to when I’m next in Bucharest without a doubt. "

"The room was peaceful and spacious, with an opening window and a balcony door that let in lots of fresh air. The bed was firm which I find very comfortable. The staff were particularly helpful, carrying bags & providing us with pots of tea at odd times (no kettle in the room). The decor may be somewhat dated but I value tranquility and kindness over a spa bath any day"
