"Loved the room"

"I would love to stay here again. Artful details, great staff, fun old building. Forgive some small old building things, old tile, and enjoy this special historic place with well placed art, wonderful staff and a sweet happy hour. A block from Powells, a direct bus to even more restaurants on the other side of the river, fabulous."

"It was wonderful, slightly dirty, but nothing too serious. There was blemishes and hand prints on the walls/ windows or mirrors. The shower door wouldn't shut all the way. But other than that, I loved it"

"I’ve stayed at the Double Tree many times over the years, and has always been amazing. This time was less so. The check-in staff was unfriendly and not very helpful. Getting any information out of them was like pulling teeth. When we got to our room, even though we had booked a room with a queen, it had a single full bed. The sheets on the bed were stained, which is always off-putting. When I went to use the shower, the ceiling in the stall was filthy and looked like someone had wiped their boogers on it. After an incredibly uncomfortable night on a broken-down mattress, I got up in the morning to make some coffee and found someone’s used grounds in the pot. All-in-all, this was not the standard I expected from this hotel after so many great stays. I’ve had cleaner rooms and more pleasant staff at EconoLodges. I truly hope this was all a fluke."
