"The property was beautiful. Small but absolutely perfect cabin for the 2 of us. It was nicely decorated, stocked and well taken care of. Saw an Eagle in the tree right next to our cabin the first morning. We will definitely be back. "

"Beautiful cabin tucked away in the woods. it has a very scenic and relaxing area. Easy access for kayaks and paddle boards, we were also able to have our fishing boat docked. There is a nice sandy bottom to walk in and swim/float in the inlet area The cabin was well equipped with everything you would need for kitchen and bathroom. To add, we were grateful for the nice beach towels. Enjoyed bonfires nightly. Overall was a great stay."

"We had a wonderful stay at this lovely log cabin. The lake was very peaceful and most of the time we had the lake to ourselves. It was great to wake up to a glorious lake view! Kayaks and paddle board were a hit with my kids. The location was perfect for visiting waterfalls in the area and in the UP, too! It was hard to leave. "

"This is the second time we have stayed at this property. It has everything you could possibly need— for meal preparation, outdoor enjoyment and staying occupied indoors. The Pickleball court is fantastic! We rent a boat from the local marina and use the dock on the property. Elizabeth is an excellent communicator and rep replies quickly to messages. We will be back again next year!"

"This was our second year at the chip lodge. we liked it so much the first year that we had to come back. the first year we showed up there was maybe 15 people and the house easily accommodated us. its a rustic vibe. things are old and perhaps that is the charm and what we like about it. the highlight for us is definitely the slow cruises on the pontoon boat as we explored the lake. The kitchen is huge and designed to feed a lot of people. Gary is a nice guy. He lives right next door which is helpful if you have any questions about the lake, boats, lures, fishing, and everything else. The view from the large deck is exceptional. Enjoy your stay here. I'd recommend this place for any large group."
