I stayed with my husband and 2 kids and my elderly dog. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The price was very reasonable and the place was very quiet and private. We had some extra needs for our dog and the staff were so kind and didn’t charge us extra. I can’t say enough good things and will return for sure. Thank you

Stayed here for one night while a travelling across NL. One of the main reasons I booked is because of the on-site restaurant which had good reviews. This motel is not great and I would not recommend it unless there is nowhere else to stay in town. The hallways and rooms had an overpowering smell of carpet freshener - I am not scent-sensitive at all but found it to be way too much. They need to dial it back. The room itself was clean and in good condition - although a bit dated. The carpets and floors could use a good solid cleaning. They looked clean but were sticky.

Could have saved $30 per night by booking directly with the motel. Stained pillow slips, sheets, and towels. Asked for coffee resupply but it never happened.

The room did not have a chair to sit and relax in. The bartender sent a dining room chair in. It was the only kind of chair she could fit through the 2 foot wide door. We stayed two nights, on the second evening around 8 pm I needed coffee and tea for the room, along with towels ( used our extra towels to soak up the water from the leaking shower). I went to the front door and there was a sign, Saturday night CLOSED. Half the light switches in the room did not work, not sure if the problem was bulb related or electrical. Very noisy as well, Friday night. Not pleased for the money spent. Won’t be back

Just what I needed
Stayed on a Monday during the off season. So it was pretty quiet. Both staff members I encountered were extremely friendly. The on site pub looked great. Would love to come back when it’s open

I do not think I will be back.
Stayed here while on business. Very chipper gal on the desk. Room was basic, thin walls, could hear other guests watching tv, using the bathroom, snoring etc. Travel companion was locked out of the hotel as the main front door locked when shut and we were not given an access code to get back in and room key was only for the room - she had to get my attention from outside the window to be let back in. No one on front desk in the morning to properly check out. Busy restaurant on site, good food.

Visiting Restland on our honeymoon while touring the area by Harley Davidson motorcycle. This motel provided a centralized location to Cape Bonavista, Dungeon Provincial Park, Spillars Cove, Elleston and the Vernon's Antique Auto Museum in Swift Current. The facility, service and food was excellent not to mention the owners Maxine and Larry Donahue gave us their personal attention. Great times at the Restland! Absolutely biker friendly and accommodating with even cleaning supplies for our motorcycles. PS Say hi to Vicki, our new favourite bartender😀

The property was pretty basic, but what it lacked in frills, it more than made up with friendly staff and cleanliness. We were later checking in, on a hot day and the wonderful lady at check in informed us that our room did not have a/c but she will put us in one, for a more comfortable stay. I loved that the room didn’t have carpet. Everything was spotless. We would definitely stay here for a quick one night stay again.

This property is tired and needs a sprucing up. The receptionist who I think was one of the owners was lovely, however the unit needed to be updated. It was a central quiet location. There was a smell in the kitchen that we couldn't figure out.
