This will be your perfect Mountain Retreat. 'Quiet and Peaceful'! Enjoy the sounds of Nature, the sounds of the River, and the Beautiful view. This Cabin offers free long distance and WIFI, Two Master Suites with private bathrooms for both. This Cabin is beautifully decorated and very very clean. Also, If you like going shopping, the Quaint Alpine town of Helen is just a few short miles away, along with Restaurants, Amusement Parks, Bear Zoo,
Winery, Golf or Tubing down the Chattahoochee River. This is a Great Location no-matter what you like to do. Don't forget to check out all the Spactacular Water Falls nearby, and Unicoi State Park.

Great Weekend Get Away

Great place to stay, especially if you want quiet and family time. We had a very nice time and stay. Walked down to the creek and took some photos, visited Helen GA did a little shopping, and enjoyed a few food establishments.

Family vacation

We had an awesome time. Cabin was nice and homey. We loved sitting on screened porch after a day of sightseeing. We were close to towns and wineries but cabin felt nice and secluded.

Awesome summer getaway!

This beautiful cabin was perfect for our family. It was clean, quiet, and the scenery could not be beat. We enjoyed playing in the creek and the location was a great point for venturing to hike, shop, or explore the area.

Helen trip

I booked this cabin to stay in for a few days while I ran a race. The cabin was very spacious and clean, the decor is a bit much but overall it is a beautiful cabin with clean bathrooms, a comfortable bed and all the amenities needed. The view is beautiful and I would absolutely stay there again.

The photos of the property do not do it justice, absolutely gorgeous. The river flowing in the background was so relaxing.The decor was great, the beds were so comfortable. Everything you would need was provided. Definitely would stay here again.

Girlfriend Getaway

This was a wonderful and relaxing place to stay! We loved being on the Soque River. Very quiet but close to Helen, and downtown Clarkesville. Beautiful house!

Early Fall get away

Beautiful area with creek below cabin. Very peaceful also. Cabin was wonderful, but could may need replacement light bulbs and the ice maker seems to get jammed and not produce ice. Over all a awesome retreat!

Very clean and nice location. No cell service which was great. TV service was signed out so had to use my own for the NFL playoffs, but other than that it was good.

Oktoberfest and fall leaves

Cabin was private with comfortable beds and a nice view of the creek. We chose this location for access to Helen, Dahlonega, and Tallulah Falls. We had trouble with the internet, Don sent a guy out to fix it. I give it four stars because the outside porch and decks needed some TLC. Overall, we were very comfortable there for the week.

The design and layout of the house is perfect. Room sizes, room orientation, kitchen design, bathroom layouts, the gorgeous screened patio, the exceptional decor, the furnishings, the wonderfully comfortable beds, the wooded setting next to the river, the sound of running water, the proximity to town with a rural feel - perfect!

Great getaway!

Cabin was very nice. You can hear the stream below but it rained the entire weekend so we couldn’t go down for a better view. We would definitely stay here again. It was quiet with no traffic. We had no problems finding the location. There is no cell service but thankfully wifi took care of that.

Cabin was nice, quite and stream was wonderful. Only thing was we only had 1 roll TP, no paper towels, 2 trash bags for week stay. We bought tp, paper towels and box of trashbags. My husband is home dialysis patient, so layout of cabin was perfect.

Comfortable rental with nice view

Nicely decorated. Awesome water sounds can be heard from all deck and porch areas. Would suggest more light switch labels, as we couldn’t figure how to turn on lights to lower decks to enjoy after dark. Also microwave wasn’t working during our stay, but manager will check before next guests. Overall, enjoyed our stay very much.

Relaxing cabin feel.

We booked so we could take my 82 year old husband trout fishing for a “bucket list” time fishing in north Georgia. We asked the property manager if this cabin was conducive for this type of elderly fishing and we were told it would work great. Upon our arrival we noticed… The photos do not do justice to the type of stairs and walking needed to get to the river. We had a WONDERFUL TIME, but we had to go into Helen to find suitable fishing for our senior citizen to fish. This is not a cabin with river access for an ailing senior.
