"This property is beyond amazing! We stayed May 27-29, 2025. First off, the owner, Jessica, is great. She respnds quickly if you have any questions, and is very friendly. The "Rusty's Roost" is my new home away from home. Its clean, comfortable, and spacious. My Mom, sister, and brother were in awe and didn't want to leave. If it was possible i would give the "Rusty's Roost more than 5 stars cause it deserves more. Thank you for sharing you wonderful home with us. Thankfully, The Myles Family from Biloxi, MS "

"AWESOME!! If your looking for a great experience book this hotel. It is in and older building converted into a hotel in Clarksdale, MS. The rooms are large and clean. However, there are none of the static distractions like chain hotels. There are no stairs to the second floor and no tvs in the rooms which affords for a quiet stay. The beds are clean and comfortable. If you want a quiet and restful hotel while in the area this is it. "

"I was in Clarkdale last minute for work and needed a place I could clean up, change clothes, sleep, and turn around to do it all over again! This rental was even more than I could have asked for! I had a nice, big bed, a desk, a decent kitchen and fridge to store snacks, leftovers, and most importantly, DRINKS because it was hot in the Delta(!), and a clean bathroom -- that all had me refreshed and out the door ready to go each morning of my stay. As a single female traveler, I felt safe coming and going at all hours of my stay, and I was literally a 2 minute drive from downtown. Everything I needed! Would stay again! "

The rental property was extremely well appointed, newly renovated, and located only 5 minutes from the heart of downtown Clarksdale. "We just loved our little pool house escape. Great location for respite from funky dowtown Clarksdale. It's quiet and being on a golf course had lots of big trees so we could go birding from a chair! We had everything we needed, our host John was most accomodating and enjoyed a lot of time sitting around the pool. Couple of weeks too soon to jump in sadly.I would not hesitate to go back to this little piece of heaven! Perfect for a couple as only one bed/bedroom but the couch wasn't bad for a third. Highly recommend!"
