The crystal thermal brine and sauna area "Hot Brocken" with bistro, as well as the DSV Nordic active walking center and the Heilklimaportal, with starting points of various hiking trails are within walking distance. The center of Altenau away from here via various footpaths in about 10 minutes. In the immediate vicinity is a bakery.

Tolle familienfreundliche Ferienwohnung

Eine wirklich schöne, toll eingerichtete Ferienwohnung, die auf wenig qm trotzdem alles bietet, was man für einen Aufenthalt mit Kindern braucht. Die Umgebung ist ein bisschen gewöhnungsbedürftig, zwar alles gepflegt,aber insgesamt etwas in die Jahre gekommen und im vorderen Bereich des Ferienparks auch sehr viel Leerstand. Man sieht doch deutlich, dass die goldene Zeit dieses Parks vorbei ist. Die Wohnung an sich ist aber toll und Altenau bietet eine gute Lage für viele Ausflüge im Harz.

Kleine aber feine Unterkunft, von der aus man auch gut mit dem Pkw die umliegenden Ziele im Harz erreichen konnte.

Klein aber fein.

Für eine Familie mit 4 Kindern ist die Wohnung zwar nicht geräumig, aber wirklich ausreichend. Auch in der Küche war genug Geschirr für 6 Personen. Die vielen Bücher und Kinderspielsachen machten den Aufenthalt zudem noch entspannt für alle.
